finally, a great arcade game

this game is pretty good. you can choose from 4 guns, the bosses are a bit tough, and you can duck'n'shoot. but lt's face it. the storyline isn't that great. the enemies' name [like Wild Dog (from part 2) and Wild Fang] are just stupid. the ending is ridiculous a repetitive. i know that the game in't about the story, just the action, but at least have a decent plot. the different modes i thought were cool.

Solid light gun action!

I had played Time Crisis 2 at the arcades and I instantly fell in love with it! I recently got Time Crisis 3 for Christmas, and while it didn't blow me away it was great fun non the less! First up, if you have never experienced a lightgun game and are itching to try one BUY THIS ONE! The whole experience of having a guncon2 in your hand is riveting and brings the score up about two points! That said, if you buy this game without the gun, prepare to be dissapointed. But the Time Crisis3/Guncon2 deal is worth every bit of the 60 bucks you'll pay! The action is so fast and intense that you'll actually have to pause the game from time to time to take a breather! The only problems I have with ntis title is that it has little variety (though that won't matter too much when you're cappin' baddies in the face), and the save system is wak (You gotta essetially beat the game in order to save) However if you can get through these (minor) problems you've got a grand game on you're hands. Enjoy!

(Review for the arcade version.) Best Arcade game ever!!

The best arcade game ever made. 4 different types guns, longer and bigger levels, way better graphics. If i could i'd by the arcade version, no matter how much it cost. it is that damn good. I like the whole time crisis series, one and two are very sweet games as well. An the first person shooters can only get better, and i can't wait.

BEST LIGHTGUN SHOOTER EVER!(arcade version)

Time Crisis 3 is with out a doubt the best light gun shooter ever made!! Seriously, you could spend hundreds of quarters on this game and still want to play it, its that good! Also, something that adds to the gameplay is the ability to switch guns at any time, which is rare in lightguns games, and adds more stratagy to it. What Namco has created here is a game that will go down in arcade(and console history),and you should not miss out on it.

Namco never fails to disappoint!

It's 2003, and the third installment of Time Crisis has come out in the arcades. OK, so that was awhile back. Not even a year later, Namco has the home version ready, and all I can say is that I'm amazed that Namco could live up to their reputation of giving us arcade games on our home consoles that manage to exceed their original arcade counterparts! Realism is one thing that you'll see a lot of in the game. If you shoot a surface, you'll see a bullet hole and smoke. When you shoot an enemy, they react depending on where you shot them (head, legs, arm, etc.) Even the cut scenes look great, with mouths moving in sync with characters' dialogue. The music is well composed, seeming perfectly fitting for whatever situation you're in, with a nice mix of orchestral arrangements and rock music. Cut scene dialogue is well spoken, with no lame bits like the ones that plagued the first game. If you don't have a GunCon 2, then you owe it to yourself to get one, which is why it's a good thing this game comes packaged with the GunCon 2, which makes shooting and dodging a cinch thanks to the simple interface and accurate technologies the GunCon 2 was built with. The story is simple, a European country comes under attack, two secret agents are sent in to remove the threat. OK, so story isn't everything. One interesting tidbit is the addition of a new mode where you can play as the female soldier Alicia in her effort to rescue her brother. The Time Crisis series has always been known for it's unique gameplay mechanics that keep players coming back for more, and the third time is truly a charm!
