Too bad I can't choose half scores cause this game would get a .5 from me. What's the big deal? It's just another silly FPS that's been done before. The PC is made for the FPS this piece of trash would get better scores if it weren't made for the flopbox by m$. I actually fell asleep playing this game and I even had a whole night of restfull sleep the nite before. This game is great for insomniacks who cannot sleep. The Master has returnd to reclaim his throne with an iron clad fist and new shoes that are sure to fit in the asses of every doubter, hater, and anti-Xboxer out there. With the notion that Killzone was supposed to be the "Halo Killer" out the window, let it be known that Halo 2 is the real deal when it comes to FPS action. Sure, it's not perfect by the high standards of todays gamers, but then again, what game is. The story is as close to motion picture quality a video game can get, in my opinion. The cinematics are beautiful, the gameplay graphics are nice, though the framerate jumps and flickers from time to time, but you will look past that once you start rocking with two SMG's in crazy hectic fire fights. We've waited years to finally get our hands on this sequel, and I for one can honestly say that it was well worth the wait. And if the ending is anything to go by, Halo 3 on the new Microsoft system is going to make all "Halo Haters" suffer severe heart stoppage.

If you don't have xbox stop reading this and get one now because Halo 2 is the funest and best game out to date.

all i hear about is the battle between ps2's excluisve and xbox's own. easliy the x-mas battle is gta san andreas and halo 2 . wutever system u own u have 2 agree. but wut ever system u have . u have 2 say these 2 games r amazing. and u cant really compare them cuz there totally diffrent.i bought gta the 1st day and i loved it. i borrowed halo 2 for a nite and i played it and it was amazin. i think both owners( xbox or ps2) have 2 give props 2 both these games. remenber ps2 ppl just like x-box is waitin for halo 3. were waiten for the new gta. halo is good

Halo 2 is undoutably the best FPS game around and; dare I say one of the best games (any type) ever made. If you have never played either Halo you are either in some kind of torture chamber in some country nobodys' heard of, or it just didn't interest you, if that is the case that is your problem, but both Halos' are one reason to buy the xbox. The multiplayermode is what these games were designed for, but the compelling storyline... its great. It starts off pretty much where the 1st one left off, but I don't want to spoil it. In short, for those who hate reading much Halo 2 is awesome.

This is a FPS like any other. I don't know why people like it so much. Above of all, the FPS is a genre that has not been showing great news for a good time...

Ok, fairness aside... I'll give this game a 5.0 for being the best FPS for Xbox. I won't go so far as to say of all systems... but if I can give Killzone a 5.0 for being the best of PS2, then Halo 2 deserves the same for being the best of Xbox. My 4.0 still stands as my rebuttal to GP (3.5 to Killzone... 5.0 to Halo 2?) and all other fanboys for being biased and hypocritical between the two games when they obviously share many of the same flaws (graphical glitches), but still rock in their own rights. If you are lucky enough to own both systems... go buy Killzone AND Halo 2. You won't be dissapointed with either, assuming you love FPS.

This game is absolutely the best game since the first one! I advise strongly to everyone to buy it.

I unlike alot of you....well acually all of u, am one of the fortunate few who own the game already no im not gonna tell you people anything about the single playermode but i can tell you that the multiplayer mode is my best friend in the worl,d in fact i have been constantly playing it sence yesterday (when i got it). I am even playing right now just inbetween the games (on live). I would have to say that the Ivory Tower has got to be me favorite multiplayer level it ROCKS.

Well, I don't know about all the losers who are doubting Halo 2's success, but I for one stand by this remarkable piece of work. I will be at Gamestop at 10:00 in the evening the night before it releases, waiting, waiting, and waiting. For my life has no other purpose but to enjoy this beauty. Keep it up bungie.
