No one dies harder than Master Chief... except John McClane

Pros Cons
Just plain fun Poor storytelling
Amazing visuals
Intense action

Master Chief is back to really stick it to the Covenant. I'm gonna just point out the game's only real flaw right now: the story. Can anyone tell me what it's about? Seriously it's confusing as all hell. That minor complaint aside, this is about an intense of a shooter you're gonna find on the original Xbox. To quote Metallica's "Disposable Heroes", the slaughter never ends. Whether you're controlling Master Chief or the Arbiter you practically fight whatever the Covenant or the Flood throw at you by yourself. The dual wielding of hand guns is a nice touch and adds a bit of strategy to what would otherwise be another run and gun shooter. That, and the vechicle combat and rechargeable shield (which other shooters would shamelessly copy), really seperate it from the other FPSes of the time. This baby sold like hot cakes, and with good reason; it's intense and addicting beyond belief. (Oh yeah, the online play didn't hurt either.) It's hard to imagine how well that giant black box would sell without this flagship franchise. With nothing else to add, I'm go on record and say there's no greater pleasure than to rape the Flood and the Brutes. ARRRGGGHHH I hate those cheap little bastards with a passion.

Xbox icon returns with greatness

Pros Cons
Tight controls Not enough content
Amazing visuals
Intense action

Halo 1 established the xbox as a console capable of greatness. Now Bungie brings about the sequal, Halo 2. The same great controls are carried over from Halo. This time 2 guns can be use at once. This a great addition, more firepower. The battle is brought to earth this time. Going into buildings brings a new level of realism to the game. The aliens look great. The single player mode is very short but the multiplayer mode is deep as ever. The ending with a promise of master chief going after the aliens was infair though. Why could not the game continue for more levels with those battles.

This second effort brings all the high quality of Halo and improves them a bit. Great game.

Halo is back!

Pros Cons
Fantastic multiplayer Not enough content

This game is lots of fun, but too much like the first one. There are hardly any new weapons, and very short single player. Of course, it is Halo so it has to be good though. Amazing graphincs, great gameplay, amazing multiplayer, and fun story line.

Halo meh

Pros Cons
Fantastic multiplayer Ugly visuals
Intense action Unresponsive controls
Doesn't live up to expectations

I hear it day after day, "halo RULES". Just don't believe the hype. In my humble opinion, Halo 2 is just another version of Halo 1, and that sucked too. FPS games just are challenged whenever migrating to a console. This game is no exception. Horrible controls, poor graphics and corny characters.

The Retarded Sibling

If you ask any Halo fan which was the worst game they will most definitely answer Halo 2. The hype for this game was incredible. People could not wait for this game to be released, but Bungie needed more time... The game was rushed and you can tell by playing it. But the one thing that made this game such a hit was.. the multiplayer. This was one of the first games to fully use the power of Xbox Live. The multiplayer was all anyone played when they played Halo. Even if you have heard of the bad story/campaign mode this game is a must buy for any Xbox or Xbox 360 owner.

Halo 2

This has to be the best game that ever game out for the original xbox. With the diverse multiplayer maps and the story lines cut off that keeps you guessing. But there is a down fall to the multiplayer is the fact you can glitch or what most people call super jumps. Which can give a person a huge advatige over everyone else. But overall this is one of the greatest games ever made.

Halo 2

Best f#@%ing game ever! It's as good as the first one and it was the best when it came out. I think it was really fun when it came out since no other really really good games besides GTA was out at the time of its release. The guns, the sound and the controls were the best. Well, maybe the controls kinda sucked. Tne sound was kickass and the graphics were good at the time but are average compared to Halo 3. SPOILARZ: THIS IS HALO 2! YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, GET OUT! PWN3D... =D

Incredible, but with some quirks. Read on...

This game really is incredible. For its time, the graphics were stellar, and they're improved by the fact that I'm playing Halo 2 on my Xbox 360. The TV that it's being played on is a 42-inch Plasma Screen TV. So, yeah, it's pretty good-looking. It introduces new weapons to the game. The battle rifle was a welcome addition, along with the SMG, the Carbine, and the Beam Rifle. Dual-wielding was a new innovation, giving you extra firepower BUT at the cost of grenades and meleeing. Unfortunately, though, they took out the Assault Rifle. That's my only real big gripe with this game. That, and the hit detection's way off. In hectic multiplayer matches the view can be confusing and disorienting, and sometimes when you hit, thinking that you just assassinated or beatdown some n00b, you miss, he turns around and blasts you, and you die. So, it's really good. This should definitely be in your Xbox/360 library. But be wary--it's definitely not as good as Halo 3, so don't be angry if you find Halo 2's taste not within your palate.
