Great WW2 First Person Shooter

As I think we all know now, at least any one whose ever played MOH, you'll be quite familliar, with the amazing opening level and once again, this one dosent dissapoint. You start out at Pearl Harbour the day it was bombed, and must survive. Through about 20 hours of gamepley, you will be fighting for freedom, to keep the U.S.A safe. Through out the game you will follow objectives such as rescue, or shoot down, etc. The levels are fun and all look different. The only thing keeping this thin away from a perfect score, is the dumb as a board A.I, sub par graphics and bad voice acting. And don't touch the mounted machine guns! A great game that could have been perfect with a bit more work, hopefully EA can spiff up the next one a bit more.
Not the greatest but deserves some credability.

The most recent game in the Medal of Honor series, this one is the second best the best, being MOH Underground. This game is great because you can get so many different medals, so many unlockables, my favorite was the WWII Vetran interviews. The game has 12 levels of fun with small glitches most games have, and the grapics department is cheesy at times too, mainly bushes. The series has gotten a bit better because instead of the usually non linear levels, now there are sometimes more than one route to take. Your team members (when available) are sometimes smart, but the A.I is as dumb as planks even on hard. But the gameplay makes up for it, shooting down planes killing Jap's (not intended to be racist) and the solid gameplay make this game a great one to necesitate your game rack. It's worth the now cheap greatest hit price, but if you have all ready played the new call of duty you may find possibly the final MOH game a dumbed down shooter. If not this game is worth every penny.
Best MOH game for the PS2

Even though the a.i. is still a little dumb, it is still an awsome WWII shooter. I love the addition of multiplayer and online support! The game only cost me $20. and it was well worht it. anyone who loves FPS's should pick up MOH-Rising Sun.

When I saw MOH: Rising Sun in a commercial showing Japanese planes flying over American battleships and dropping bombs, I went nuts because of how intensely cool it looked. When I got the game and played the beginning, the gameplay felt fresh at first, but quickly became tedious. The first level is the only level in the entire game worth playing. The battle we all know about is great to play in, especially when you get to shoot at the japanese planes with an automatic machine gun and double-barreled missile launchers. The action and the scenery is great, along with the sound which makes it feel even better. But after the battleships are sunk and you're on your way to the next mission, you quickly realize that this game is no different than Frontline or the MOH games preceding it. All you do is walk around, shoot a few enemies here and there, pick up a medkit, repeat. And, that goes on for the rest of the game. I was very dissapointed after I beat the game. Oh, the gameplay time was a good 8-10 hours. I couldn't of asked (or expected) for more. There are a few nice features here and there, like having more of your allies helpin' you out along the way, riding a war elephant with automatic machine guns on it, and a few planes flyin' by here and there. Oh, Rising Sun is online, which I haven't tried, but I guess it would be pretty fun (for a couple hours). Point being: Rising Sun isn't any better than Frontline. It seems that now EA Sports is trying to pull people in with the promise of one epic battle mission. This might pull in a few players, but right now, it will only bring in hard-core MOH fans. This game will cease my buying of any more MOH games and I hope it does the same to you. In closing, if you are looking for a good first-person shooter game and have spotted this, move on and try out Call Of Duty for the PC.

The U.S. and Japan had a deal. They made and revolutionized video games into the multi billion-dollar behemoth they are today and intern we didn't kill them in those video games that we love to base on WWII. That is untill now. You're a GI stationed at Pearl Harbor who is shipped out shortly after the "day that will live in infamy" and as you island hop you'll visit the dark dank reaches of the jungle to the busy streets of Singapore. There are several multiplayer options that are now the norm in FPS. The graphics are fairly good. The jungles of Asia as well as the city landscapes are well made. The people look a little too similar though often times having me unload a full clip into my own comrade thinking he was a Japanese. Vise versa with me thinking a Japanese was a comrade until he unloaded a clip into me. The sound is good also with great weapon sounds and voice acting. The whole super heroic score is getting a bit old though. Well the controls are well laid out I found them a bit sluggish. I think this is just more to the fact that I've been spoiled by Halo's controls though. For a race that's stereotyped as being smart these sure are some dumb people. The bad AI along with the similar looking characters can cause some big problems. This game has its ups and downs but give it at least a rent. The Pearl Harbor level alone makes it worth a try.
Horrible Game.

the graphics are horrible. the single player is boring, the controls are alright, the sound is crap. the multiplayer is the only fun part about this game and even that isn't all that great. Bottom line is, this is one of the crappiest First Person shooters i've ever played.

Why can't we all just get along? Why is there so much violence and killing in video games? Why don't we have video games like Balloon Animals or Basket Weaving? All kidding aside I was real disappointed in this game. EA really needs to update the graphics in this series. MOHFL was a great game but I think the programmers are getting lazy. The opening sequence was great of course but the game falls flat after that. Poor level design, bad graphics, bad AI and way too short. What's the deal with hiding save points? I hope this series doesn't go the way of Tomb Raider. Please EA get your butt in gear.

Because the game can't faill the game's good plus i like the idea of gettin letter every time u finish a mission. The mission are fun though some are way to hard. The graphics are ok. I'd say if u liked frontline then u should just buy this game if not u should rent it first.
nice addition

MoH:Rising Sun was a nice addition to the MoH series. It could have been better because of how short the game was. The graphics were fairly nice, but they also could have been much better. One thing that really lacked was the enemy AI, your enemies and teammates were encredibly stupid. one of the great additions to the game was the multiplayer, that made the game worth it. 3.5 out of 5.
