FREAKIN AWESOME!! I was more amazed than i thought i would be. Great graphics, awesome action, genuinely interesting story, and plus great sound. Also, the havok physics blew me away. The gravity gun is the most original and fun weapon in years to a now getting stale weapons system in shooters. 5 out of 5

WOW! I have never had that much fun playing a game in a long time! It doesnt get much better than this folks. The graphics, sound, controls, level layout and gameplay are all top notch. It is easly the best game on the market now(Metal Gear 3 also). Who ever is reading this now and hasn't played HL2 yet, stop reading and go out and get a copy and start playing. You wont leav you computer for days. What am i doing im going to go play it right now!

You wanna talk about overhyped, look at Halo 2! That is the most over- hyped piece of SHlT I ever seen! You gave it a 5.0, you fanboy! Half Life 2 is 1 of the best FPS's ever. And it's original, unlike Halo 2!

this game was the worst interpretation of a FPS, i wanted to break my computer. To bad the score doesnt go to 0.0 because thats what i would rate this peice of crap.

Best Game out there on PC. The physics alone make this worth purchasing. IT's an extremely enjoyable experience and I highly reccomend it.

this game is the best computer game i have ever played and ive been through so many computer games. This game hsa the best graphics AWESOME gameplay, good sounds, and very realistic. For those of you who are debateing to buy this... I would definately buy this before any other game

To be intrinsically good is to be good in and of oneself, and not simply be good because you lead to greater good. The basically sums up half life 2. While the game is incredible in and of its own, it really won't change all that much for the future of the genre. This game is not entirely perfect. It is perfect until the end, which dissappointed me greatly and left me saying "That's it?" I would be more then happy to give this game a perfect score, but I sadly cannot, because it isnt perfect. Graphics, sound, and gameplay are all tterriffic in this story-driven FPS. What brings the game down is it's lack of good story, I hope Half life 3 will tie things together and make me enjoy this game more.

If you enjoy half-life or any other FPS (first person shooter) this game is a must have. The story line is one of the best out and it is backed up by wonderful sound, graphics, and gameplay. The story picks up long after the Black mesa "incident" , and it gets better and better. The sound is nothing like I heard every crate, barrel, wall, pipe, ext, ext haves its own unique sound when it is hit. The graphics are amazing with the ragdoll technic and great character dezine . The game play is one of the best feature. Not only do you get to dive don buggy's, boats, and cranes, you get to play with lot of new guns. And the 3 different game settings (easy, normal, and hard) So I have to give this 2 big thumbs up and would recommend anyone who can run it GET IT.
