Dont listen to Arbiter. I have both the PC verson and the Xbox version. The only difference, beisdes the graphics obviously, is the PC version is alot slower. The Xbox version verson runs smoother and its controls are better. Either way you'll love the game but I would get it on both if u can. But beat it first on the Xbox and then try the PC one. It will seem like a new game and I guarantee you will wanna play it through again but with jawdropping graphics and realism on the PC.

Half-life 2 is everything you need and more. No one has made a better game in...6 years.Halo, Halo 2, Doom 3, are all good but this beats them all. If you still dont have this game BUY IT NOW! And have fun

This game was worth the wait. The graphics and control are just as amazing as they promised they would be, and I've never seen a better physics engine. My only complaint? A slightly choppy port to the Xbox. Why?!! DO IT ON THE 360!!!

striders, headcrabs, antlions, hunter chopper, hovercrafts, combine, and scarier than all the dooms combined who could ask for more. This game has a cliffhanger and ending (A GOOD ENDING!!!). This game is the best pc game ever, period. (until new ones every 3 months via steam) A 1 I CAN"T BELIEVE IT GOT TWO ONES!!! i'M MAD AS YOU CAN TELL!!!

The beginning to Half-Life 2 matched its original, but as you play, it gets a little redundant, ending in not so amazing fasion. Still the physics in Half-Life 2 are unreal and graphics excellent, even thoough they don't match Doom 3's. Great play overall but not the super power Half-Life once was. TFC forever.

all the people that gave this game a 2.0 or below suck alollipop hater...anyway this game is an awesome game, the graphics are better than any pc game, its awesome

Half-life 2 is definitely one of the best FPS up to date. It is a very realistic game and has a great setting. It seems like every thing in this game is real time or can at least be meddled with, the puzzles are awesome...creative...and fun. So far it doesn't seem to resemble the setting of the original half life what so ever but that is not neccesarily a bad thing, it still ties in with the old game...but has evolved for the better making it uncomparible. This game blows away killzone, halo 2, Metroid prime 2, doom 3, call of duty and all the other recent shooters...which are still great games but they don't match up to the aura of intensity that half life 2 seems to posses

All you Halo 2 fans (which includes me) you need to get on your computer go to steam.com and buy Half-Life 1 and 2! Why because it's single player is so much better than Halo 2's and has two types of multiplayer modes: Counter Strike:Source and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. When I first started Halo 2 then finished it for third time on legendary I thought it was the best fps ever. But then I got my preodered Half-Life 2, and it blew me away. I was in awe when I saw the graphics engine on my pc. It is the best graphics to date in any game. In the world of City 17 it feels like I belong in that world. Gordon Freeman plays the hero part so well and the voiceovers are some of the best in the industry. With the inclusion of vehicles ( NOT COPYING HALO2) brings new kinds of missions to the series. Now my favorite part of the game is the physics engine. When I first got the gravity gun I was astonihed by how realistic the physics were. The best enemies to use it on are zombies. Because they are slow moving you get time to pick it up and then aim to shoot a perfect shot. If all this dosen't make you change your mind let me let you remember that mods are part of pc games and day of defeat and team fortress are coming soon.

Far better than halo in every way. Metroid is this games only rival. They both have great graphics and great stories. On top of that, they have addictive mutiplayers. One of the best ever, nuff said.
