Rise To Honour has its ups and downs... Lets start off with its ups: Great fight scenes, easy controls, Great shooting scenes, You get to be sneaky also, Awesome fighting moves not only wiht yourself but with a partner (not 2 player), destructive areas. Ok now the downs: graphics are ok but could be better, Gets boring after from all the non-stop fights, could have a better story for the game. This game is still enjoyable to own which is why I recommend people to buy it.
Good Stuff!

Well...what can I say? It was a good one...not too many games like this come along. Alot of interactive environments..great graphics..and the revolutionary (with what I call the "fight stick", because well...you fight with your right analog stick!) new system of fighting. I give it a 4.5...something was missing....it would have been perfect, but some graphic disfunctions like when you knock an enemy over, half of there body magically goes through the wall...just little things like that... Other than that A+

Rise to Honor staring Jet Li is a pretty good game. I liked almost everything about the game, it was fun, the controls were super easy, and offered some good challenges. the graphics were okay although there were the ocasional sloppy frame rates, sound was repetetive, all the gangsters you fought all said the same thing and it got annoying. the fighting system could have been deeper, for example the adrenaline attacks were cool to do but require the most precise timing and the meter you have always drains to fast, and what really irritated me is that at the end boss you have a whole different fighting style. out of all the cool styles of WuShu Jet Li knows we get some average looking fight seen. We should have had some sort of weapons combat instead of just plain guns, you should have been able to explore a little more. The story was simple and i found out about a quarter way through the game who was the villain ( I won't say who it is because maybe some of you haven't played it yet). Basically it is an average game that will keep you busy for about a week or two. if i were to make categories i'd give graphics a 3, sound 3, control 5, fun factor 3.5.
A good game, but...

Rise To Honor is a good game for the most part. Using the analog stick to attack is a refreshing break from the traditional button masher, the environments are well-detailed, and there's just something fun about smashing an enemy's head into a window, or dunking him into a pot of scalding water. But then the problems start. The A.I. is unbelievably cheap. The sheer number of bad guys onscreen at times is enough to make anyone pull his hair out. And then there's Michelle. What a bad idea that was! The Collaborative Attack is a bust because when you grab her, the enemies just stand there, out of your reach. And contrary to popular belief, you don't need her in order to win. You might have to beat the bad guys a bit faster, and you have to make sure she doesn't die, but trust me, it can be done. Hopefully these issues will be addressed in any sequel that is planned.
Weird to me... 4.0 for the good things, and -1 for the bad...

Surprisingly good for a reinactment of sorts. I mean, we've all been letdown bigtime by Bruce Lee games and such, or movie adaptations that totally stink, but this is pretty original. The controls are weird, and based on rhythm. You simply tap the analog stick in the direction of the enemies and Jet does his own fluid Kung Fu. The more fluid the tapping, the more graceful the movements. So if you're surrounded, you hit each person in a practical order. Still, it becomes an action button. When it's not for 'hit' it's for 'jump,' or swing your partner 'round and 'round, such as when teaming up with the girl. That was frustratingly hard, and so is the game. I'm stuck on a level.
Rip off

The game sucks. The storyline was stupid, it was hard to cotrol, and when you fight with the girl it's impossible to fight. One reason is it takes so long to responed by the time you attack the enemy already they are starting to kill you. And the other is that you have to use her because if you don't she'll die because she cann't fight. And a security guard can take out half you health bar the bosses don' even get close to that. Also in one level you need to use stealth and rise to honor is not a stealth game. But it does have it's go time and it is fun to use the guns and to beat an enemy with a bat. But don't bother renting it. It's a rip off!
Chop kick its all in the stick, if you wanna buy it im sure you will!

In honor I will review this game.......Jet Li jumps to action in the 360 degrees powered game Rise to Honor!Graphics are cool Jet Li looks a bit like Jet Li(a bit cartoony), animations are great, Jet Li moves so sweet and cool others are sweet and so is the control.Sound is great with either cantonesse(or something like that) and english language to choose. What I most like of this game is the fighting sistem, move the right joystick to the direction of the enemy and bam! punch kick hes out! but then bam!10 guys surrounding you and then move the joystick like crazy and...yes ill say it again....BAM!down they go, action is everywhere and this game has it, makes you feel like youre in a hong kong movie.Rise to Honor is a must buy.
