Another triumph

Looks: It's DDR, enough said. The setup looks like DDRMax 2 from the arcade. Sounds: Good songs available, and a nice arcade experience. Controls: Dance play option? Yep. Playing with a controller? Not as much fun as the dance pad. Gameplay: Ah, Maxx Unlimited. One of my personal favorites in the realm of DDR 10 footers. It's here. Kakumei? Yep. Afronova? Mhm. A list of songs that doesn't disappoint? Yep. Fun: Yes, it's fun. throw your inhibitions out the window, and do NOT expect to be amazing at it first try. DDR can be hard, but it's fun the whole way.

I don't play video games for exercise

This game is terrible. Bad controls. Sucky multiplayer. Backgrounds that cause seizures. And it doesn't even have a very fun, or addicitve game to begin with. I bet that one day, Richard Simmons will endorce it as a healthy alternative to say....a fun game, perhaps?

DDRMAX2 Best Dance Game Around! - Thomas

This game has way better music, the videos actual video you can dance to, easier controls, lots more to do like a workout mode, nonstop mode, also you can make your own dance steps but remember you make it then you gotta play it. This game will want to make you play all night without stopping. this game has it all you ever wanted in a dance game. This game is a keeper but remember its really fun when you have the dance pad because it gets boring fast using the controller.

Extremely fun game!

I was recently convinced by a couple of my friends to play the game DDR Max2, the latest installment of the popular arcade game from Konami. I've only heard good things about this game, so I said what the heck, I'll give it a shot. At first I was deterred by the fast moving arrows on my friend's side of the screen, but after a pep talk I was ready to go. Warning: If you are a person with flat feet or no rythm, you will have trouble with this game! Other than that this it is great for people looking for a good workout in their home but don't want to take out a second mortgage for an expensive exercise machine. Fans of dance music such as myself will also have a good time with DDR Max2. It has an excellent soundtrack, with music by Dirty Vegas, Kylie Minogue, Ian Van Dahl, and DJ Sammy, just to name a few. You can buy DDR Max 2 and the DDR controller combo pack for $59.99. If you really get into the DDR craze, I suggest buying a more comfortable controller fron RedOctane.

"Step-Up" to DDRMax2!

DDRMax2 marks a milestone for DDR players here in the US. It marks the first time a US release is actually better then it's Japanese counterparts. DDRMax2 sports the most liscensed songs of any current home version, US or Japanese, and the songs included are great. It does suffer a bit from a few repeats, but they are acceptable in the face of everything else we are getting, including several songs from DDRExtreme. It is rather unfortunate that Oni Mode failed to make it in, but it is forgivable, seeing as Nonstop Mode has taken it's place. The game also features the return of the dancing background characters, and the debut of FMV music videos that play in the background of certain songs, such as DJ Alligators "Blow My Whistle Baby". Overall, the game is A-Class stuff, and fans of DDR are encouraged to check it out, post-haste. Contrary to Gamepro's review, you can purchase a bundle pack that includes a copy of DDRMax2 and an official Konami dance pad, so rush out and pick up a copy of this awesome game. You won't regret it. :)
