The added features are nice, but the gameplay from '04 and beyond have been almost too realistic. For large fans of football, this is great. But for a simplistic gamer like me, I enjoy just sitting down and playing, not getting penalties because the AI made my character grab the face mask of the other player. I enjoyed madden 2003 more. Madden 2004 is more of a less interesting version of madden 2003.Let me give you a few pointers on why it is less interesting than 2003 because the graphics is the same and the sound is different but no better. The music is nothing better than the music mix in madden 2003 and the replays are no different. But the game is not the worst because the plays are ok and Madden as the announcer has not dissapointed me yet. Bottomline is the game is great but there is nothing in this game that makes it better than Madden 2003.

Nfl Madden 2004 is the best football game of its series. It has very good graphics and the best plays in the NFL. Each time have common plays but they also have special plays. Before you go into Season Mode, you you should have a few practice games with the team you picked. Also on this game you can make your own stadium and the prices on the stands and all kinds of other stuff. I would recommend this game to football fans.

i dont know who fantasy boy and hanzey are but theyre totally wrong. dont listen to a word they say. they game owns HARDKORE!! playmaker is they greatest thing in football games today. the graphics and gameplay are realistic. i dont know what fantasyboy and hanzey are talkin about. anyone who would give this game anything less than a 5.0 dont know what theyre are talkin about. they should go play other games like gameday or espn or 2k3 4 5 or whatever. theyd think different once they play those lame games. theyd better recognize. no football game on the market could touch madden. i havent played nfl fever for xbox but i know it cant touch madden 04 probably not even madden 99 ha. this is the best series of football games on the market and i dont care who says its not. you need this game in your collection. BUY IT!

this game sucks it to easy bad graphics and i read that this game sometime preform glitches in this game and it would break often if that happens you better hope

This is the best NFL Football game ever made. The gameplay is fantastic, sounds are great, all of the options that have never been available to us lowly fans before. I love this game. Looking forward to a jump in Graphics eventually, but other than that all of the Controls are here to play the perfect game of football. How 'bout them Skins, Joe Gibbs is gonna take another ride in the saddle? (Old Skins fan from North Carolina, converted to a Panthers fan, now I can finally pull for the Skins again, yee-ha!)

Madden NFL 2004-it's in the game...you bet your momma's sweet @$$ it's in the game. I used to think nfl madden games sucked compared to NFL Fever on the xbox. This is game is so cool and creative do to the new create a team and owner mode. Plus, online play is also available. I'll still prolly play this when 2005 comes out.

Of course by this time of the year, I don't need to tell you that Madden is the best football game out there. What I need to tell you is that after playing this game, no other sports game (football or otherwise, read this XSN Sports!) can compare (NCAA Football is an exception.) If you learn to play this game properly, it becomes a focus on strategy with playcalling, game plans, subsitutions, and which players you wish to focus on, and which ones you plan to build your team around. Not to mention is can be played online with voice support. Hail King Madden!

This is the only football game worth buying. Its just simply amazing. No matter how many seasons you go through, this game never gets old. The franchise mode is insane. I have my Jets Stadium built in Manhattan. The only bad thing about that is that the fans got mad when I moved the team out of Giants stadium. It made no sense. Its a New York team and it belongs in NY. In Madden 05, I hope they change this. Other than that, great game. Buy it.

great game. GRAPHICS are beautiful, the plays are AWESOME, and the gameplay is just FUN. Mini CAMP IS FUN. THIS Is A GREAT GAME i cannot say nething bad about it. THIS IS A PERFECT GAME if u understand football.
