I liked the Gamecube version better(Only because of Link) But this one was really good too.I think the controls were the best on the PS2.The graphics were really amazing.There were lots of good characters.The story mode was pretty good and the adventure thing was long had lots to do.A good game for a 3 systems.

Even at it's age, SCII is still one of the greatest fighting games of all time. The weapon combat is extraordinary and extremely well balanced. With a wide variety of characters, you're bound to find at least one that fits your tastes. The graphics still hold up nicely today, even compared to games like Tekken 5. The controls are nearly perfect, and the sound is amazing. If you like fighting games and don't already have this one, go pick it up. With infinite replayability, you're bound to come back for more.

Forget Tekken, forget Virtua Fighter, and forget Mortal Kombat, this is your game! It's a dream to control, the smoothness of the fighting is great for both button mashers and skilled fighters. If you play this game for a long time, and play any other fighting game, then they just feel slow, that's because Soul Calibur II is very fast paced, even the blocking and parrying don't slow you down. You'd think that weapons would slow you down compaired to weaponless fighting games, but no- it's so much more faster. You often have that moment in this game where you did this sweet-ass move and you feel really good about yourself, and the combo variations feel endless, depending on which fighter you are using. It's just a classic, learning all the moves of your character will take a long time and some patience, unlike other games where it feels like you are doing the same moves over and over again. Soul Calibur III isn't as good, get this one the moment you spot it!

Amazing grahics, great sound, terrific gameplay and lots of modes make this on of the best fighting game ever made on the PS2.

this iwas my first soul caliber game. this is the best fighting game i have ever played. the game is a little easy but still fun. the graphics are great. i like the special moves they give the characters. the camera has got in the way before and it is a little hard to control but once you get the hang of it its pretty easy. i had fun beating my bro and my friends in the multiplayer mode. this is my favorite fighting game.

Selling your soul never felt so exhilarating. Fight your way to claim the Soul Blade. The graphics are beutiful, the controls are easy to learn (difficult to master), & the combos are fantastic. The PS2 version may have Heihachi, not really as cool as Spawn or Link, but he's pretty good. Weapons Master mode is really frustrating, but it's fun. Plenty of modes & secrets to play ALL the way thru.

UM this game is nice, theres plenty of characters...the story is long...Fun to play mutiplayer so u can beat up ur friends...i wasnt rele impressed wit it, but overall its a fun game... Gameplay/story- 4.0 Graphics- 4.0 Sound- 3.0 Fun FActor- 3.5

this is a fun 3-d fighting game. the array of warriors is diverse. The single player story mode got boring to me real fast. I still prefer Mortal Kombat over this game. I would NOT buy this game for $49.99 or even $19.99 now that its Greatest Hits ($20 is alot to me). I got mine for $8.00 (ebay), go get yours. The game is very enjoyable when you didnt pay alot for it. This game is definitly for 2 players. Single player sucks on this game unless you want to just work on some combos.

this game suck dew to it lack of lenth. Gameplay was alright but still. ibeat with-in 5 hours. i must i enjoy the charecters.

this is a nice game. i know many people who think this game is way too short. i have had this game for half a year and i am just now finding stuff that i missed. this is a great game. the graphics and the intro are awesome. it still has not gotton old yet. it is not too short!!!
