THEY RUINED THE SERIES

Why do companies make a great series and then ruin it by making so many frustrating changes? All the previous 4 games were awesome... then came this one. The battle system is HORRIBLE, you lose turns cause you move closer towards the enemy who runs away half the time. The supposed combo attacks are very difficult to control and you end up doing hardly any damage. BAD BAD BAD... why they had to change a good thing is beyond me. Only improvement are the graphics cause its now on the PS2 system.
It's good, bad, frustrating, kinda old school, and most of all... different

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter is like playing oneof those really old RPG games like Final Fantasy 1. Unless you plan ahead plan on dying because this game is quite a doozy of a game. Don't worry too much, dying isnt bad if you have alot of party XP, good skills, and good stuff, because your supposed to die one, two, three, or more times. The battles are like war, you dont go berserk, unless you like being destroyed, but strategicly and with grace. Rewards are nice for those who heed this advice. If you do well, goods will come a pleny. The strict item storage makes you think of one thing. "What do I really need to carry?" Because if your low on health and come upon a healing item, but you carry junk, you gotta make a choice. Overall, it's a game not to be taken lightly, and a great game for those who seek tremendous challenges.
