Skies Of Arcadia is an okay game, but not as good as Final Fantasy VII. The graphics on SOA are alright, but the sound could use a little of an improvement. The battle system is great, but it gets quite annoying after a while. The only thing that I dislike about this game is the difficulty, I mean you have to really train to get ahead in this game. By trianing I mean a good hard 14 hours of training.

yeah, I played many RPG games including FF7,FF9,FF10, Crono cross.. & the best one was FF7.but after I bought skies of arkadia, I really surprized from its great story line. I think it's compete FF7 & it may win the competition.

Skies of Arcadia Legends rocks on the Nintendo Gamecube. I like this amazing RPG. One of the only traditional RPGs is now on the Nintendo Gamecube. The game still costs $50. Oh well. Overworks did a great job. The game is massive in scale.

You obviously havent played this game enough or have no knowledge of any RPG's. This game is great and deserves to be ranked up there with one of the best RPG games of all time. I'm serious. If only Overworks/Sega had actually revamped the graphics and actually did some advertising this game would have sold extremely well. (It sold badly. But ok.) This game was originally for Dreamcast and I always wanted to buy it but never did. As soon as I found out it was being ported to the Gamecube, It was an immediate buy for me. I stuck to it and bought it first day. I am glad I bought it too. I was sad that the game had to be beaten because the story was so good. I also hate when people judge the game because the graphics are outdated and the game runs slow. It's just ignorance. The graphics did not bother me one bit. Do I think this game is better than most Final Fantasies. Yes. A 5.0? Nah. More like a 10.0

Great storyline, awesome ship battles, beautiful locals, tons of stuff to look for. This game is just great. With... one little snag. The random battles. Ugh, how I've felt like throwing my controller while looking for all the discoveries just because of all the random battles that kept getting in my way. Oh, and the battles just get too easy once you've gotten powerful enough near the later part of the middle of the game. Once you've gotten a strategy down, just keep using it. Pretty much, just watch out for the constant random encounters. Gets old REAL quick.

This game is the best and i actually mean it :) RPG ever made it is so long and so fun with all these new things happening all the time. Trust me when you buy it and play it for like an hour you won't want to stop. I give the graphics a 4.5 it is not perfect but it is good. The contols i give a 5.0 cause they are easy. I give the sounds a 5.0 it goes perfect with every scene and with a little of everything. And yes a Amazing 5.0 for its Fun factor it is so fun and let sad that there is no second one :( This is a great game to have for you great Gamecube collection. Trust me i was really sad when it was beaten thats prolly how you will feel and it is hard too but not too hard :) Guess you have to buy it to believe it :) So DO it NOW!!

Awesome game, bottom line. The gameplay is spectacilar, the story is awesome, the enemies are awesome, the weapons are awesome, the design is awesome(makes you feel like a city is really alive). The graphics aren't the best, and the sound is good but there are barely any voice overs. Other then that the game is perfect.

Skies of Arcadia is a must-buy GameCube game. The graphics, although not top-of-the-line, are fun and colorful. The sound is AWESOME. Music perfectly suited for every part of the game plays non-stop. There are even different sections of the songs that it will change to depending on how you're battling. The battle system is the best part of the game, though. Its system is classic turnbased, but there are many extras such as changing your weapon alignment during battles. The ship-to-ship battles are also amazing. It gives something new to spice up the old. If you own a GameCube, you MUST buy this game. If you don't own a GameCube, you should already own a GameCube and this game. If your a broke hobo, I'll laugh at you before mine is stolen. HAHAHA!

buy it...trust me. no doubt about it. it is a game that is a must buy... graphics pale comparison to the fun factor!
