The Time has Come

LOTR The Two Towers is a game that can open up to all gamers young and old. The game consists of three different perspectives (Aragorn,Legolas,Gimli). Now just because its a LOTR game doesn't mean you have to like it. But I think you will like it no matter the kind of gamer you are. The transition from PS2 to Gamecube was a great sucess too! Now the time has come to play LOTR The Two Towers on Gamecube Game Console. Rating: 5.0

Good, just good.

The game gets short in front of Return of th King, but you can still borrow it from a friend or rent it, it at least deserves that.

horrible

this is a horrible game. i bought it for $25 and it is worth $5. i hate this games graphics. they do look a little like the movie but i hate half the levels . i have had this game for...3 months and it sticks. the second to last level is impossible which got me soo mad. this game has only 3 characters. the new one has 9 ! the game did not have long levels. i hate this game!

Golden Axe/LOTR fans unite!

Peter Jackson's vision of Middle Earth is beautifully recreated here for fans of both the hack 'n' slash genre and LOTR. The game is deeper than you might expect, giving you the option to upgrade your character's knowledge of attack combos, stamina, projectile impact, etc. And there comes a point where banging on the buttons just won't work anymore, so if you're worried that this game is a brain waster, think again! You will have to think. While certain characters' faces look a little muddled, the animation is truly excellent. Every monster acts like its movie likeness, and watching the trolls beat up their own teammates is a hoot! The sounds and soundtrack are simply brilliant. There are certain sounds (like the trolls moaning off in the distance) that give me chills. The only reason I docked this game a half a point is because there was no two-player cooperative mode. This game begs to be played with a friend, like old-school Golden Axe.

This game blows the movie curse away

This is a game that didn't lose anything going from PS2 to GC. When you start playing it you think that it's going to be real short, but once you beat it, (if you can) tons of secrets open up, and you can go back and play each level again. The controls are easy to use, and the graphics are great. Sometimes it's hard to realize how much is happing on your screen at once. Uri-khai are chopping away at a wall, hundreds of orcs are swarming through openings, a cave troll is bashing things with it's mace, and at the same time you and your partners are shooting arrows, throughing axes, and slicing with their swords. The games starts off fairly easy, but it get's extremly hard. I had to switch from Normal to Easy to beat it. But nevertheless, it's worth the $50.
