i'm gonna say my piece

This game can be summed up in two words: MISSED OPPORTUNITY. Yeah, I gave it a 4, but it could have been a lot better if they had taken their time on it. Now don't get me wrong, this was a fun game. The cool factor of being in the Matrix world was incredibly awesome, and the bullet-time combat was pretty cool, but needed a little improvement. Overall, i really meant to give it a 3.5, but because i love the Matrix series, i gave it a 4

Good game, but not worth 30 bucks

I wasted my money on this game hoping that it was going to be, awsome, but all I got was a big frown. It has some cool action scenes but it just make you want to paly it again, unlike RATCHET&CLANK, it is a very good game, you should play it.

would you hack in?

you have plenty of guns, lots of levels, movie-like foootages, slow- motion, and Matrix-quality moves (running along walls). but for some reason, i was a little disappointed. but not every game has to be "ABSOLUTE #1." this game is pretty cool, in my opinion.

I Need to Free My Mind

Finding a game that had more hype than Enter the Matrix is next to impossible. In fact, the hype was so big, that it would be inconcievable to expect this game to live up to the expectations. But never has a game with so much hype been so under par. This game has the stink of a game that was rushed out the door alongside the movie. Every element seems to have the potential to be fun, but it never feels fluid. It feels more like rust. The story line follows the exploits of Niobe and Ghost, but will be utterly lost if you haven't seen Reloaded. The audio and voice acting are both as high quality as the movie was, but suffers from echoes and other bugs. Practically the whole thing suffers from bugs. From silly looking running and climbing animations. Mindless AI, and textures that look the same with each level. The only good gameplay element is the focus. Which depletes way to fast to be any fun. Boss battles where entertaining, but where few and far between. Remember, if you are going to play this game, free your mind first. Don't have that mindset that this game is special in some way.

Just okay. Too many control problems. Camera bugged bad. Could've been so much better. What a let down.

BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG disapointment!!!

Enter the matrix was one of those games you, thats before you buy it,thought would have really been cool,i mean come on who would have thought that atari would have spent so many millions(i think it was over 30 but i am not sure)on a video game and got the original actors of the film and have exclusive video of scenes from the film which they did not show in the film. Now that alone would make any gamer want to buy it.After you buy it though prepare for a shock. It sucks.I mean ok u have that cool slow motion effect but the graphics are really poor and you dont get to play as Neo or Morpheus or even Trinity. And the levels, good god the levels.the level design is pathetic,it looks like a PsOne game. All in all this game would only satisfy die-hard Matrix fans and it could be ok to check it out as a rental for a weekend who knows, you may be the One.

Jack In, Jack Out, Forget About It

I have to say it, this game is dissapointing. Why did this have to happen when the movie was great? Well, anyway, this is a third person shooter and just that. If not for the Matrix license I would have given it a 1. The graphics are full of jaggies and just plain laughable movements. There are a few shiny surfaces that attract my eye but that's where the good stuff ends. Sure there heads may look like the actors but do the actors have hands that are stuck in a straight position while firing a gun? No, no they don't. I didn't stay jacked in for the graphics. The sound is averange with some good gun sounds and great voice acting. The music is repetitive, it studders sometimes in driving scenes and usually full out shuts off. I didn't stay jacked in for the sound. The gameplay is sub par I guess. The Kung-Foo is really cool in slow motion and is the only really cool part of this game besides what I discuss next. The gunplay is average and uninspiring. I didn't stay jacked in for the gameplay. Here is what I stayed jacked in for, the movies! This is definently the selling point of this game. There is over an hour of original footage shot just for the game. That's dedication! You need to see these movies that tie in with the movie, it helped me grasp the Matrix a little better. In closing, I love the Matrix movies and you should too! Rent this game for the movies in it and live through the horrible "gameplay" parts if you can call them that to see more of the story. Rent it and forget it.

Enter then Run

The new Enter The Matrix video games have caused such an outbreak of Matrix mania that we forget to think of what this game really offers. True gamers will notice the reapeating type of missions and the cheap graphics that some critics rave about. Honestly if i wanted to play a game which could "Matrix Mode" I would go out and buy Max Payne which actually has a great story line and a decent replay value. Even though there are two main chat\recters both have greatly repeating type of missions. For example if you play woth Ghost theres a chance you wont really want to play the side of Naobi. The only cool thing you can do is hack but its truly worthless un less you think staring at a tv is fun then be my guest. Theres really no replay value to this game so your best option is to rent it borrow it but dont buy it youll surely regret it.
