Stealthy, sneaky, creepy, whatever you want to call it, this game is absolutely awesome. From hiding in the shadows, to throwing dead bodies off of buildings, I recommend it to anyone. Are you a strategical person? If you are, then you must try this game!

Why? Because I said so! It's very good but I cant help compare it to Metal Gear Solid and next to that it's nothing real astounding abut it.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME NEXT TO HALO .IT IS SOOOOOOO FREAKING FUN.I mean when I first started playing i was just blown away.

GRAPHICS- 5.0...Splinter cell's graphics make the game shine...lots of cool visuals, neat backgrounds, and suberb character models is enough for me!!! SOUND- 4.0...The music gets you hooked and the sound effects are close to top notch but with all the lousy charcter talk and bad weapon sounds...BANG!!!...there goes sam fisher! CONTROL- 4.0...Actually fairly good controls I must say becuase usually stealth techniques are a drag to control but this game makes it perfect...too bad the camera sucks and sidestepping is left out!!! FUN FACTOR- 4.0...Stealth games can't get better than this but then again...I hate stealth games!!..without the big control and sound issues..this game could have made it extremely far!!!

If you're looking for a challenge, go out and get this game. It will keep you busy for hours as you must be stealhy, overcome obstacles, and a whole lot more. Really good graphics, though almost every game I've played for X-box has good graphics(note: ALMOST). Music is really good, controls are great, everything in this game is sweet!

This could have gotten a 5.0 but it suffers from the most challenging levels I have ever seen! At least in some games they give you hints on what to do, or just flat out tell you! The first level when you have to break into a house and get a blackbox from a safe, they don't even tell you or give you a clue on where it is! So I searched all about the house finding nothing until, what do you know a DAMN PAINTING OPENS! Where no they don't tell you jack! Great graphics and it is interesting but SO DAMN FRUSTERATING!

Splinter Cell is fun! It is challenging, which I think is good. . Buy it. Tom Clancy games are very good games. I gave this game a 4.5.

This has to be one game that will outshine what competition there is. Never have i seen a game as realistic as this one, the use of the Quake engine for interaction with the envoirment, the use of shadows and light that play such a vital role within the game itself. You definatley have to be on your toes for this one. One of the many things i did enjoy about this game is the limited amount of ammo you have at your disposal. If your the type of person who prefers to go in blazing with both guns drawn, then you may find this a little difficult, for soon you WILL run out of ammo, and have to come up with something else to get you through the levels.(hint: dont try and shoot ALL the lights, waste of ammo) I love the fact that you have to use your mind and try and overcome all obstacles in your path, and not rely on brawn. I rate this game very highly, but the only downside i see to this game is the reply value. Once you finished a level, unless you did a really poor job of trying to complete the level, you may have no desire to try again (i didnt) But the one good thing i did see about the replay value is the ability to download levels from the internet, but then again you have to buy Xbox LIVE to even do that. I think those corporate goons are just trying to weasel a little more money out of us. If they have more levels for the game, they should put them all in the game to begin with, dont tease us with the carrot and stick. CIOA!!

Splinter Cell is totally an awesome game. First of all it has totally sweet graphics that are one of the best I have ever seen. The sound is great. It is sometimes kinda funny what the guards say. There is a huge replay value for this game. I couldn't put the controller down. The control is pretty good and easy to get used to. I give it a fun factor 5 because it has like everything you would want in a game like violence, ton of action, great graphics, awesome sound, and a hard difficulty which you may or may not like. Sam Fisher is your character and he has a ton of gadgets like thermal vision, night vision, 9 mm, frag grenade, lockpick and disposable lock picks, optic cable, and the laser microphone. I hope you enjoy this game just like I do. It is easily the best XBOX game ever made. One thing don't get caught by the guards! Enjoy!!!

Splinter Cell is certainly an impressive piece of work. No one has ever been able to make the dark seem so cool. Splinter Cell is a game that shows the true power of the X-BOX. Everyone rejoice and point your finger at the less powerful next gen consoles.
