this is one the best fighting games I have ever played I love the fighting styles and the weapons feature is awesome

With the exeption of Mortal Kombat Three for the Sega, This is my favorite Mortal Kombat game by far. The game allows you to select main characters to play with and unlock key characters. The Konquest, or story of the game is however, terrible. The game is reccomended for people who like the original MK 2,3 and 4. If you compare it to Deception however, MKDA is alot easyer, which in this case is a good thing because you must do Konquest of you wish to unlock key char's from the Krypt. Another awsome feature is the Moves List option during the game if you forget your specails. All in all, MKDA is a 3D MK classic.

I went ahead and bought MK Deception before I even concidered buying Deadly Alliance, and after seeing what MKD was like felt I had to go back and see what I missed. THAT was a big mistake! When you compare the two games side by side you can really see where MKDA falls short. The Konquest mode is even MORE of a waste of time than MKD with combos that seem just as much a pain in the butt. The Krypy is alot bigger in MKDA than in Deception but it's alot harder to build up Koins. I did enjoy seeing some of the old school characters and a few new ones. One thing I did notice was alot of the moves from MKDA were transfered over to Deception and given to other characters. If I had paid out the $50.00 for Deadly Alliance I would have felt like a dope, but since the price has dropped it was worth it. I think that once I've opened all the Koffins and unlocked all the different fighters, Deadly Alliance will get put away for a long time

It's a good thing that Mortal Kombat returned to bash someone's brains out two years ago (2002, to be exact). If Mortal Kombat: Deception gets a higher rating than Deadly Alliance, I'll be impressed. I'm out.

Some say that MK4 was disappointiong. I don't think they saw this game yet! I'm not impressed at all with this game. Sure... there ARE more characters, and favorites have come back. I don't like the fighting system. The gameplay is also almost the same speed as Clayfighter 63 1/3. However, the thing that really made me mad was being a take-off of DOA3. How? Why, it's with 3D controls and interactive environments! Both are real pains. What happened to the arcade gameplay? What happened to the flowing adrenaline? Why, Midway?

Mk5 is frickin' bloody goodsome wholesome meaty fighter. There are badas charatcers with fatalities that spill 94878496 gallonso blood. Of course, the gameplay is fluid and the Martial Arts are real. There is so much replay value because of the godly Krypt concept. Have you got Cooking with scorpion video yrtt? Its funny HuhHuhh. Overall, no Mk fan will be pissapointed

i like the krypt thing, but reading the list of whats in them a week after the game comes out ruined it... konquest is a cool idea, an incentive to train, but once again, the list ruined that. sub zero is a cheap bastard. he froze me about every 10 secs. i finally had to take lei mei and flying punch his ass a couple dozen times... heres a tip on how to be a cheap bltch: jump forward and kick as soon as you see your char connect. repeat. nearly unblockable, coz it dazes them, and by the time they are a ware, youve kicked them again. im just glad scorpions 'get over here!' is still there. o, and subzero looks like a total badass now... Sure everyone has been waiting for that MK that comes to the all powerful next gen systems and here it is in its worst form! I cannot believe what a load of crap this game is! Yes the new "Koins" crap is mildly interesting and how you have to buy characters, movies, costumes, and other usless crap. Plus the blood effects are pathetic! I mean common is that blood or slugs?! Plus the fighting styles all have that one move which can turn the entire tide of battle. Most like to call it CHEAP! It is all about who can be the cheapest with their character. To round it off this maybe kind of interesting in parts but over all this is the worst excuse for a sequal ever.

This game is way beyond cool, it's awesome. With it's hand to hand combat. It has a line of different fighting styles and a few secrets. Along with it's expansive game play and challenges, this game has it all. I loved this game from the start and I have every thing on it (characters, videos, arenas, etc.). This game in my opinion is meant more for true gamers, not people who just play every once in a while. This game takes alot of skill.

this is the best mortalkombat game ever great graphics and control and the fatalities are great i think they should have added some of the old classics like animality babality and so on but the only thing i hated about the game is that biatch moloch hes friggin harder then shang tsuang and quan chi and some stuff in the crpyt is just dumb but other wise great game
