Wow. this game is great. I picked up the last copy before the game sold out. This game has surpassed my expectations. First of all, compared to past MK games(in terms of gameplay), it is much different. This game more resembles a tekken or virtua fighter, which has its good and bad points. My first gripe is the fact that Scorpion doesnt have an uppercut....spear+uppercut is 1 of the 2 original combos(other is freeze+uppercut of course) that has lasted throughout the series. But other than that i cant find much to complain about. The graphics are OUTSTANDING. I remember when MK4 came out, it blew me away. It PALES in comparison to this game. The two fighting styles and weapon is a great addition and adds some much needed depth. For those gamers who dont like the sight of blood, STAY AWAY from this game. For fans of past MK games, u shouldnt miss this one, its gonna be great and a players choice for sure. Like the pros at gamepro said, if u arent a fan of the series already, this game probably wont sway you toward it, but I always have been(MK2 was the best SNES game ever!!). For those like me, go buy this game, u cant go wrong.

this MK is definitely not the best but is still up there with 1 and 2. if you only have a gamecube and you want this game i would hold back because you have to use the extremely small d-pad on the GC controller. PS2 and XBOX users this is a sure fire fighting game for you

I gonna said this is the best Mortal Kombat games since 1 & 2 came out, it got everything a MK fan want clean graphic, fun gameplay and best of all real martial art for once in the game. Midway is refreshing the MK serie and it showing it with similair to the first game, like one fatalities for each character and test your might and some new one like test your sight but the best part about this Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance is it unlockable goodies from the krypt which you can purchase with the koin you collected during the game and being a fan of the series, I can said I'm not dispointed in the game and which the new Mortal Kombat is going. After all I said this is my personal review of my favorite fighting game of all time, it may not over throne Tekken or VF4 but it hella fun to play if you are a MK fan.
