Worst MK game I've ever played!

I expected so much from the new game Mortal Kombat: DA, once I played it I wanted to cry. The graphics were horrible, I'm really big on good graphics and I beleive that good graphics make a good game! Without them you don't have much of a game and MK: DA really put PS2 to shame graphics wise! Then there was the control, I have never had such a heard time controling a fighter in my life. Expecially with MK games. I really thought the control and story line woild blow Tekken Tag and Tekken 4 out of the water. And the storyline...not as bad as the graphics but does not compare to other fighting games I have played. And the characters were changed so much from their orginals that I could not recgonize any of them. MK has really lost its touch, I say with that game is where they should end it. I beleive things could only get worst.

Admittingly, the game is pretty good until you have seen what everybody can do. Then, the game is pretty much down hill from there. There are inconsistencies with the combos. Some require breakneck speed and some require timing. One fatality per character? Come on, we know you better than that! To top it off, there are no stage fatalities, like knocking somebody off a cliff or into an acid bath. The fatalities they do have are mediocre and uninspired. Kenshi probably has the coolest one, and that is not saying much. This game is purly rental status.
Good but not the best M.K.

M.K. Deadly Aliance is good but has some problems. I didn't really like the story line in this game. What's the deal with Luke Kang dieing. The new characters are cool. THe koffin area where u get to buy stuff is good. Graphics:4.0 It's good Control:4.5 Easy to control. Sound:4.5 Great sound efex Fun Factor: 4.0 Not the best M.K I still think #3 is still the best.

As far as fighting games go now, this is the best one out there. To be able to have 3 different fighting styles is a new revelation. The Konquest mode is really a great way to learn all of the new moves. Some people say "well I don't see any pit fatalities." Who cares, the game has just about everything a MK fan could want.
w00t what a great way to bring back Mortal Kombat

This game is terrific! I love how it has some of the original characters from the previous games, and a few new ones. The graphics for the game are just amazing, and adding the Konquest, oh, wow that's all that comes out of my mouth when i think of it. I've had the game for about a month, maybe 2, and I'm still loving it. I hope they keep the MK games coming, and be like DA, or better!!!

This game is great, out of all the games of Mortal Kombat this one is the best of all. Subzero has never been beter, and Frost has realy good moves. The controls are simple a monkey could figure them out, If you press just one button you already have out your weapon, and you can even change your style fightin techniques. IT'S REALLY GREAT!

My feelings about MK: Deadly Alliance are good and bad. The game, well, it is ALL good. The moves, combos, graphics, fatalities, minigames, and secrets, they are all wonderful pieces of this awesome game. My bad feelings are generated from all of the ignorant reviewers out there who do want to give this game it's due credit. I've seen scores like 6, 7, or 8 out of 10. So far, only GameInformer has recognized the true greatness of MKDA (9.5 out of 10). This is by far and away the most complete fighting game ever created. Sure, we all want there to be two fatalities per fighter, but still, the ones the characters have are pretty sweet. But the excellent combos, the AMAZING blood effects, and a plethora of secrets (over 600!!!) makes this game the best fighter ever, and one of the most addictive games you'll ever play. Shame on you simple-minded magazines for not recognizing greatness.

MK: Alliance is the most fun i've had playing a MK game. The "Koins" you earn as you go through the game are a stroke of genius as you purchase "Koffins" from the "Krypt" to unlock hidden "kharacters" and other items related to the MK series. The fighting is intense and fun as there are tons of moves for each fighter and deadly weapons for each of them as well . The graphics sizzle for every fighter and every arena. The storyline is typical MK style, but with the different features and hidden goodies, the game is definetley one of the top fighters around.
good game

This is a good game, but not great. I was a little disappointed with it. I expected more. What makes me mad the most is how the characters only have a maximum of three special moves and only one fatality. And some of the characters' trademark moves are gone- like Sonya's leg grab and Cyrax's net. Also the fatalities are pretty lame and corny. I wish they had the fatalities from MK2. Some of the good parts of the game is the sound. The music is great and sets a good mood for the fights. The characters' grunts and screams are very annoying and repetitive. The graphics are pretty good as well. Realistic motions and the fantasy styles are cool. It is especially cool the way the fighters cut and bruise. I don't like the cartoony-ness of some of the characters though. Probably the worst aspect of the game is the AI. What usually happens is that you are fighting someone near the end and you win in the first round very easily and think that you will win no sweat. Then you get wrecked in the last two rounds. What really makes you mad is how you can only bear Moloch with one person. For me it's Scorpion. It's also annoying how Moloch does the same move for the last 5 seconds of the match so it knocks you away and you can't hit him. The story line is decent but not very interesting like past MKs. I wish they expanded the story lines of characters like Ermac and Noob Saibot instead of adding corny characters that you will never play as like Li Mei or Mavado. Ermac is one of my favorite characters and probably the most mysterious of the series. His name is mentioned once in Konquest mode with Kenshi. Well I think I've complained about this game enough. I'm a hardcore MK fan and I really expected more.

I'm pretty new to the MK Series. Last time I had played any of the games was about 3 or 4 years before Deadly Alliance came out. The game play is great and I enjoy seeing the blood go over the place. I jsut get a little p.o. when the only way I can beat Molock is by using Quan Chi. Other than that, this game kicks ass.
