GTA:Vice City rocks,it has everything GTA3 was missing like the mopeds and motorcycles and even under-cover cops,you can even pick up new weapons like hammers and the best weapon ever a chainsaw.The other good thing that unlike in GTA3 you here the name of your character and he even makes comments about his bosses which are pretty funny.This game also has alot of replaybility and some crazy cheats too.Oh did i also mention heli-copters.

In my opinion I feel this is one of the worlds greatest games, and shouldn't get so much grief that it has violence and car theft, and take a look at how fun the game is and, how detailed the graphics are rich and full of life. So I think GTA3:Vice City is a really great game.

Get this game now! This is a combination of all the other GTA's. People say it sucks because its only 1 city, boy are they stupid. This game has no negative side,unless you play it in front of your parents.There are new weapons like teargas(found in the first island's police station) chainsaws,hammers,MP5s,Vipers,and many more,there are also new minigames like delivering pizza, competing in a stunt arena, and good ol kill frenzies. This game is worth your hard earned 50 bucks. The game seems to still use the same engine,but modified for better details like car reflections, new lighting effects and new smooth fps's. It looks crapy with the trails on,but you can turn them of at the display options. The sound is also tight. You hear old people talking at the golf course while you drive a golf kart(yes, GOLF KART) and those painscreams are funny as hell when you use your golf club. The great things I can say about this game could never end. So JUMP ON THE BAND WAGON cuz you're in for a ride

It's the biggest and best game of the year, and if you don't have a PS2, then you should buy one just to play this wonderful game! Rockstar North outdid themselves; all they had to do was make a clone of Grand Theft Auto III and slap on a few extras, but instead they went the extra mile and redid everything! That's right--EVERYTHING. If you haven't already got this game yet, then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Go and buy it NOW, or you'll totally miss out on the year's biggest game and the overall best experience the PS2 has to offer! It's been said before, but now more than ever: THIS IS THE REASON YOU BOUGHT A PS2.

This time around your in the fictional tropics of Vice city in the decade of bad music the 1980's. Of couse the same old mayhem carjackings,shootings,and more which is not rare to the gta series. Rockstar is finaly going to have your guy talking and give him a name. I have to say for the amount of time they made the game they leave anything out your can go to tool shops and buy a chainsaw once you start riping up people there blood starts flying on the sceen same as water when a car go's though a puddle. Now you can buy houses,sripculbs,and more if your more into golf go to the golfcourse go kill the people the cops will not come in so start killing some people steal some golfcarts at's all.

The bad- Cops start chasin you for the simplest things like accidently running into a cop car. Of course they also chase you for "accidently" shooting someone in the head with an uzi. Lacks some weapons. A little too much like GTA3, but still better. And thats pretty much it, now... The good- Cool radio stations. Much more vehicles(ground,sea,and air). More characters. Cool effects. Simple controls. AWESOME GAME! My advice- get this game!

there is nothing quite like it. GTA3 was great but this blows it out of the water. with the addtion of moterbikes, and helicopters and a better airplane, this game is almost unbeatable.there are over 200 different vehicles i belive from golf carts to speed boats to dirtbikes to 4X4's. you can buy buildings now and go into buildings like bars and clubs, restaurants, strip joints, an areana, and a golf course. the weapons are to die for. the same ones from GTA3 but more, like chainsaws, miniguns, hammers, meat cleaver, just cool stuff like that. the sound track is really good. GTA:VC takes place in the 80's so its abunch of 80's sounds, but ones you know like Ozzy, Michile Jackson and Twisted Sister. the cast is also great you are Tommy Vercetti the voice of Ray Liotta. There are other greats in it like Tom sizemore, Dennis Hopper, Burt Reynolds, Gary Busey, Jenna Jameson and Lawrence Taylor. you have to get this game. It is the Ultiminate game ever. well have fun getting it.

General/Summary: I just read a few reviews, and felt compelled to lend my voice to the cause. All I can tell you is that ANYONE WHO EVER LIKED A VIDEO GAME SHOULD BUY THIS GAME. Everyone must play this game about 20% through mission-wise before they can really review this game. It gets crazy. I've never had so much fun with one game. Gameplay: Gameplay is wonderful. The plot is fantastic, and the missions use the elements of the city (i.e. gangs, cops, vehicles, apartments, police stations *like in Terminator* wonderfully. I'm halfway through the game, and i've done some missions chasing columbian drug-stealers on dirtbikes through back-alleys, manning the .50 caliber machine gun on a chopper while Lance flies, stealing police uniforms and a car, and going into the mall to blow up evidence of my protection ring) like nothing else. What i've just listed doesn't scratch the surface. And if you don't like that, and all the secrets and jumps and stuff, theres mini-games like delivering icecream, beinga cabby, putting out fires, being a paramedic, being a vigilante cop, flying radio controlled planes, helicopters, and car in little races. You can be in the destruction derby at the stadium, or race street-racers at night. I'll just end there. Graphics: Fantastic. I think the sun effect is great, and like that sometimes it blinds you when you are on the bridge over the ocean. Just like in real life, when you are trying to outrun cops, a swat team, swat dudes coming off of fast ropes on helicopters, fbi dudes, secret agent dudes in fast cars, and the army in deuce-and-a-halfs and tanks, sometimes the sun is gonna make things tough. Buildings look great. Sound: Sound is awesome. Radio is always great, but the best improvement is that Tommy will talk to pedestrians and yell at people as he's gunning them down, like at the end of Scarface. I'd talk more about sound but i'm out of gas on this review.

one word...AWESOME! this game is what video games are supposed to be. Im glad i reserved it because otherwise i probably couldnt get it for a month. Everything about this game is good. The graphics are great, and if the blurryness gets annoying, u can simply switch it off by taking off "trails" on the options screen. The sound is one of the main highlights of this game, as it was with the GTA3, but this time the music is REAL. When i first hopped in a car, Billie Jean by Michael Jackson came on, and i thought "damn can this get any better". u better believe it. the controls are exactly like GTA3, except u have more moves, such as ducking and jumping out of a moving car. The motorcyles are awesome, and the helicopter blows the dodo out of the water. I recommend this game to everyone(except maybe for those younger gamers out there) i would give the fun factor higher than a 5 if i could, bc this game is tha shiznit. GO BUY IT
