GTA3 was a landmark in video game history, and it always will be. It shocked the hell out of any and everyone. Now, GTA: Vice City moves in to kick you while you're down and offer no mercy. Great voice talents, like Ray Liotta as the main character, really pull you in. The story is better, and your character actually has a name and voice this time. If using new weapons, buying real estate, driving more and better cars, enjoying a more involved story, and rippin' it up in Vice City appeals to you, buy it now! (but you probably already have it) It's the best way to spend your cash on a game yet.

the game is great but i feel it's shorter than gta3 i already finished vice city last week but i still enjoy beating people senseless

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is maybe the greatest game yet for the Playastation 2. What makes this so much better than its predecessor is the level of difficulty and objectives of the missions. Also, the addition of over 50 new vehicles and many more weapons such as a chainsaw and colt python add a certain level of studliness to my new favorite franchise. And Tommy actually talks! I am currently on pace to play at least 100 hours until i complete all the missions. And that doesn't include the 100 hidden pakages or unique stunts. And having the ability to be a pizza boy is way too cool.

okay okay this is an awesome game the graphics cars chics weapons everything but it is esentially a gta3 2.0 and that is why this is not the game of the year but still rocks

I have played video games since Atari (this dates me I know). I have played all types of video games and I really got hooked in the DOOM era. I became smitten with Tomb Raider and I thought it was a true gaming experience, but I have to say that due to Edios lack of vision (no new Lara on the next generation systems) and Rockstar's ingenuity, GTA 3 and Vice City have skyrocketed gaming to a new atmosphere. I bought GTA 3 and played the hell out of it and thought that Rockstar could not possibly top this acheviement. I was wrong!!! They improved everything in Vice City that was wrong in GTA 3. The targeting system is much improved ( except I can't seem to use the shotgun or handguns on the police helicopter. The missions are much more varied and entertaining, the soundtrack is unmatched in modern day gaming, and the ability to ride motorcycles is awesome!!! Are there flaws? Yes! I was disappointed about the lack of vast improvement concerning graphics and the texture mapping is slightly choppy. I waited for a while before I bought the game and now I wish that I hadn't. Move over Lara, Sonny has arrived!!!

Vice City is everything GTAIII was and more. Many people have said this game is glitchy, yet I haven't found a single problem. The people who give this game low reviews are obviously Xbox/GCN fanboys. One guy even gave it a 3.0 on control only because you have to zoom in to use the M16...... Yeah THAT sure ruins the game....

This is not just the best GTA game ever it is one of the best games ever in history.It has everything good music,good cars,good women,and weapons.Its based on one of the best movies ever Scarface.GTA Vice City should be the game of the year because its a great and fun game.So go out and buy it if you dont have it.

GTA Vice city is a definent 5.0,end of story.This is the best game to date on the Ps2 to date in my book.There are several new cars in this game and the fact that you can ride bikes is 1 of the best features i can think of.The detail and amount of depth put into this game is unbelievable.You'll probably spend your first hour just roaming and jumpin ramps. If you have a ps2:get this game If you don't have ps2:get a ps2 and this game

This game kicks some major ass. There is so much depth into this game because of the many more missions and the fact that you can buy extra properties to make more money and just have load more fun. The new vehicles rock with motorbikes like the PCJ-600 and the Angel. If you really want a good sequal to the smash hit GTA 3 this is it. You can't get any better than this people!
