I relly liked this game but there is not a balance between it, because the dungeons and puzzles are easy but the boss fights are insanely difficult! anyway if you try to kill them about 5 times each tou will get it. Excellent for buying with your game boy.
A game title that evokes an identical emotion.

Let's face it...Everyone reading this review has grown up in two parallel universes: 1) The "real" world, and 2) the kingdom of Hyrule. We have followed Link on a surreal and epic journey of self- discovery since the glory days of the NES. This game is the most faithful adaptation of a classic masterpiece I have ever witnessed. Ironically, the game's title is appropriate - instantly rekindling past memories of jingling rupees and 2-D, Link-ish goodness in a time when cartridge-based video games ruled the earth. How faithful is this port? Well... 1) Start with original 5 X 3 in. SNES Zelda cart, 2) Place cart into Nintendo's magic compacting machine, 3) Remove finished product, 4) Carefully inject multiplayer support with Nintendo's magic GBA syringe, 5) Rejoice in nostalgic bliss. Bottom line: If you own a GBA and have even a shred of loyalty to the Zelda franchise, this game is an absolute necessity. After all...who doesn't want to relive the past every now and again? PhatPat

Yet another Zelda game fills the hearts of gamers with passion. A Link to The Past is filled with epic adventure, and a great storyline to back it up. As you progress throgh the game you recieve more powerful weapons and magic items, to aide you in your quest. The weapons and characters are animated beautifully in 2D. They are crystal clear. The sound is good ,though Links grunt for instance souunds more like a squeek. The Swoosh, and clangs of the swords and all else are great. The controls are no problem at all. The only real problem is the lack of a difficulty setting, and it get's really hard, but it is easier early on. LZAP is a good, fun challenge that is a legendthat will keep you happy, and puzzled for a long time. Graphics 5.0 Sound 4.5 Control 5.0 Funfactor 4.5

This is the second best Zelda game ever. Ocarina of Time is the best of course. The graphics are great. This if after Ocarina of Time. The sound is great. It is totally worth every cent you payed(if you bought it). The control is great and easy to get used to. It is so much fun I couldn't put it down. It is better than the Super Nintendo version. There is another game in it that is multiplayer called Four Swords. That is pretty good too. So if you don't have it pick it up today!!! Have Fun!!!

this game is by far one of the best zeldas if not the best. it has a special extra added on that the original SNES game did not have called the four swords. the four swords is a multi-player game that alows 2-4 players. this game is a must buy for any handheld RPGer
