THis is a great kirby game. it once again captures kirbys uniqueness. i would give it a 5 but its kind of short. the last 2 battles were the best part. the ending with king deedee though was kind of suprising. i have said it before and i will say it again. Bravo nintendo. Bravo

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land is a great way to kick off the GBA's run of Kirby games (You just know there'll be more). The game's graphics are excellent, boasting great animation (Copying a power has never looked so cool). The game probably could've taken more advantage of the GBA's sound capability, but it sure is sweet nontheless. I'm glad the developers put a level from Kirby's original GB game (I love that musical track). This game would seem to short without those buttons; trying to find the hidden door adds a lot of replay value. Also, powers such as Tornado let you defeat even King DeDeDe with ease, making this a very good game for beginners. The bonus stages and challenges are very cool. Overall, a classic gaming experience.

This game is great. The visuals are smooth and sharp and the sound is great. The gameplay is action packed 2-d sidescrolling. Its a little bit on the easy side, but the overall gameplay is stupendous.

Ah i was but a wee lad when i had this here game for my NES. Yes from what i have read it is supposed to be an update to the original Kirby's Adventure for the NES. You started off in a world with one door leading to a level while the rest of the world is blocked off until you complete a level. As you complete each level, one section of the wall will disappear and another level will be accessible. At the end of each level is a door leading to a boss fight. If you find hidden switches within some of the levels you will unlock a door leading to a minigame, one of which is Quick Draw, a realization of wild west duels to appeal to Kirby fans. You face an enemy, and when you hear a noise, you had to press the button as fast as you could to draw your gun and shoot the enemy before they could. You are then rewarded with an animation of their cowboy hats floating off to an enormous pile of other cowboy hats. Other minigames include a version of those crane machines where you move the crane to pick up a toy and drop it into the slot and one where you have to swallow eggs thrown at you but had to avoid swallowing the bombs. I also remember the final boss fight with some sort of moon-like object shooting projectiles at you but you had to defeat it quickly or else the ground below you will eventually come up and crush you. The fight after that is easier, and is against some vampire-like figure with a tornadic body. I know i'm just babbling on and on about the game but i had such good memories of it, and my NES has been gone for some time so i haven't played it in quite a while. Now's my chance, along with my GBA, to relive the memory of what is perhaps the best Kirby game in the series.
