i want to play sim city becuase i like to create and destroy things of all sorts,and i like to control the city,and the people in it,and it's just soo fun

This game will give you hours of fun as you try to build your city up. One thing i disliked though, there was no auto-disasters. I'm not about to destroy my own city so you have to be willing to mess up your own city. This is still a good game, putting your Sims in different areas really lets you know what that part of the neighborhood is like. If you've never bought a SimCity, buy this one

this is also a good simcity with new features like day and night rotation and u can biuld your sim and give them a car and stuff. here u go- graphics- 9/10 sound- 7/10 options- 10/10 gameplay- 8/10 fun factor- 5/10 time factor - 2/10 ( takes 2 long ) well there u go!

Being one of the best games in the market, SimCity 4 certainly has what it takes. I do not disagree with Gamepro's review on the four sections that were rated, but I have an issue with the freedom that was provided in the game: simply too much of it. It's true that you get to do whatever you want and whenever you want without following any particular instructions and guidelines, but this would, in effect, depreciate the game's playing value. What is the point of playing the game, if there are no stages to pass or boss to defeat? It's almost as if you're daydreaming but in a more costly way. The point of playing video games is to exercise your cerebral muscle. If these kinds of products continue to "dominate", the market, I could not imagine what our future generations will become. The same goes for Black and White.

Well, I have only been playing Sim City 4 for about 2 hours and it is great. It is a big inprovent for Maxis for Sim City 3. There are some of the same building from Sim City 3 but tghe whole entire game has been redone. Now you can place sims in the game witch adds some more intresting things to the game. You will need alest 256MB Ram to make thsi game run smoothly anything lower than that and you will have alot of glithes. The sound sets the mood with Jazz Industrial Elevator and others. The display is the same but the new god mode allows you to make land changes before you start your city. This game is great I suggest that all Sim lovers and Simulation gamers buy this game.

i dont know how gaming sites give this game so high of a score. i admit the graphics are better and there are more to maintain and stuff, but put all that aside and you have a game that runs really really choppy..when you build your city up, everything runs like s#@t!..zooming in and out takes forever because of the rendering and stuff. even on a 2 gig p3 geforce4 556ddr ram..i mean what gives?..it is not a good idea to make simcity4 like the sims. theres just too much going around to have it run smooth=(. and i dont think thier patch(if they come out with one) can fix the bad frame rates..unless they do some major tweaks to it..but i doubt it. i give this game a 3.5 for fun factor, but if your talking about performance,then i give it a 1.o

i did not like this game because there were no city made allready to get people started like the sim's games in the past this was the worse i have ever seen in a game i wanted to retrun it back to were i buy the game but i could not. for you being a game maker try to make the next games more better because i was not very happy game. i would rate the game from 1 to 10 ten being the best i would rate it a 2 becuse the game was boring

Outstanding game, great graphics... The game tends to slow down quite a bit on my comp if i make the cities too huge, (im on a 2.1 Ghz) and i have all the graphics options on medium... So if you have a pretty slow computer, you might wanna count this sim city out. over all the sound and gameplay is great, the zoning is a little annoying, because it automatically puts streets in for you, and sometimes in very odd or stupid spots. Hmm what else, ah whatever, i give the game a 4.5 (yay im the first user review!)
