Love the game, but hate the glitch.

The first time I played this game I was awwed by everything about it. The massive landscapes of the stages. The graphix, And the gameplay. the only thing I have against it is that I never beat it. Not because I died. But because of a glitch. At a certain part of a level where you have to escape. I would make it to the end and it wouldnt let me go. It was like an invisible wall. But I would play the game again today just because I never beat it. I think its a good game anyway, evin with the glitch.

Shadmadian's right

This game totally sucks. You really couldn't make a game much worse. everything sounds totally fake and the graphics are worse than nintendo 64's. The nintendo 64 turok is way better than this sad excuse for a game. But perhaps the worse part of this game is the feeling of being there and the intensity. none of those exist in this game. Most people won't have the patience to get through the first level if they know what a real game is.

boy do i miss the nintendo 64 version

This game has great graphics, a good feal to make you part of the game. Very bad controls, very little action, plan on falling asleep while playing this one. Doesnt even come close to the old nintendo 64 version. Poorly done, strongly suggest renting first.

Turok: Evolution

Turok: Evolution is not one of the best FPS shooters ever, but it is the best in the series, despite the draw-in. The graphics are sadly average, thanks to bad draw-in, the graphics make the game look like it's on the N64. Graphics 3/5 The sound is better. The screams and grunts and voices are good, but the gunshots sound fake. Sound 3.5/5 The controls are the highlights of the game. They are responsive and easy to remember and learn. Controls 5/5 Despite fake sound FX, horrible draw-in, and ledges that can easily kill you, the controls in Turok: Evolution make up for it all.

it smells like crap

pure crap turok was of my favoritesthe graphics are from n64 so i give it a 3.0 the soun is the best thing of the game 3.5 and the controls are a little beyond ok so it is a 3.0 but the game still sucks.

Intense without intensity

Game showed alot of excellent animation and gore which is always fun. But game was to easy. Showed appearance of hard levels, but ended up being just to simple. Game is addictive however and will have falling asleep playing it. This is hands down a game that you will likely trade in after you have beat it.

Just a flat out bad game

Turok: Evolution is a perfect example of a good concept, character, or idea gone horribly wrong. I don't understand how developers can take such a beloved franchise like Turok and make it this stupid. I was disappointed to the point of feeling sick, and I only played about a half hour before I decided to get my money back. The first Turok was new, visually amazing, smart, and just so much fun. But this game is a brainless, boring, carbon copy of other BAD FPS's on the market, and it has every reason NOT to be. How does this happen? In the last year, some really great game ideas and franchises have just stunk. NCAA March Madness is an incredibly fun concept for a game, but NCAA March Madness from EA Sports was a horrible game. Final Fantasy may be seeing it's final days of glory, because someone decided to exclude it to online play. Now granted, it isn't out yet, but lets be honest, Final Fantasy Online is a turn-off. People want it the way it was. Games like Mario Sunshine and Resident Evil for Gamecube, or Metal Gear Solid 2 for PS2, those games show how a good franchise should be handled. Those developers understand what is expected of them, they remember how cool Metal Gear Solid was, how fun all the Mario games are, and how scary RE is. But the people who made Turok: Evolution seemed to have forgotten that Turok is SUPPOSED to be a smart, ruthless, and fast-paced dino-slasher, not a slow stupid loser.

for what sounded like a cool game, i dont know what happened

the dinos run around with guns, i hate that so bad. the arrows explode there heads, i also hate that. the arrows are like sniper rifles, that i hate, the two player i hate, the storyline i hate, but the graphics and controlers are alright. nothing great. i would say if you liked the other turoks rent this one.
