i haven't played T.H.U.G yet, an i'm gonna get it for X-mas, but TH4 just flat out ROCKED!!when i got this game i couldn't stop playing it, an i still can't, an i've had it for almost a year. So if ur a skateboarding fan, even if ur not, this game kicked @$$. an i can't wait to get T.H.U.G
While THPS is going strong. Let's hope the GC version keeps it that way.

THPS is probally the most popular extrem sports game out there. Will the Gamecube version succeed?? The Gamecube version doesn't really differ than the other THPS4's. The graphics are good but last year's version defintly was better. What's problem with the peoples faces when you talk to them. The controls are very good and handle very well. While isn't as great, it's still not bad with okay sound tracks. Neversoft! Hear this. PICK NEW SONGS. Enough of that 70's stuff. What 'bout the fun factor??? If you had all 3 systems, and you had a choice of a THPS4 on one of them, pick the PS2 version. No fense but the PS2 version has online play. The Career mode is fun with 190 goals.....that's a lot. Including regular goal and pro goals which are harder. As going through career mode you'll unlock levels, more money and pro point's. You gain pro points as you finsh a goal. The 2 player is fun but it has the same games. Overall THPS4 was one of the best games this year..... not the GC version, unfortunley, the PS2 version takes the top. The GC version is not bad it is one really good rent. Graphics: 4.0 Not bad, a little more work though. Sound:3.0 Enough of this 70's music. Need's more work! Control: 5.0 Clean controls and perfect for the game. Fun Factor:4.0 Hopefully T.H.U.G will have online play for GC owner's. But still it wont.

man i've been wanting to play this ever since it came out and i must tell you, this has got to be the best extreme sports game out there ever. all of the previous thps games were great but the career mode can tedious seeming u do the same goals over and over again with different characters. however in thps4 there always seems to be something new such as trying the pro response sessions and it'll take the most skilled players(such as me =) ) to get even half of the total amount of goals finish in about 2 days non-stop. seriously that how many more goals there are more challening. also the graphics have been imporved just a tiny little but there still a bit of slowwdown sometimes . plus 40 soundtracks are quite a bit and probably the best yet . overely all this game is a must and u don't think is game is much better than the previous then seriously need a good slap in the face and wake up to reality my friend.
Marginally different, not really significant

I've heard GamePro reviewers- whose opinions I respect- say that this feels like an entirely different game from previous Tony Hawk games. Well, I don't agree. It's a somewhat different game compared to THPS1, or very different than THPS on Game Boy/Game Boy Advance, but if you've already played THPS3 on one of the next-gen systems, you're not really missing anything if you skip this game. I own it because I bought my 'Cube at a later date but if they release a THPS5 I don't plan on getting it. This series is getting stale fast.
This series just keeps getting bigger and bigger an....

I just got this game for a b-day gift a couple weeks ago and I'm still playing it THPS4 has made some drastic changes to the gameplay For instance, remember how you had to accomplish the goals for every single player to completely beat the game? Not this time, you beat the game with and character u choose and can change at any time, just one of the many new features The graphices look pretty good, just polished up from THPS3, but still look great nonetheless If you're a fan of this series and have any doubts, don't, this is a great game and you should get it, if not this is definitely a rent peace merry x-mas
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 [ Gamecube ]

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 for the Gamecube is the best skateboarding game ever made, but the Gamecube version has some drawbacks that dosent make the Gamecube version as enjoyable as the Playstation 2 or Xbox versions.First of all,in my opinion, its kind of hard to play this game with the Gamecube controller. If you played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on Gamecube and found the controls are good, then you will think that the controls are great this time. The graphics are excellent.Mostly everything is interactive, too.Plus, the skaters look more realistic than Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.The levels are large, too. This is the best skateboarding game ever made, but its best played on Xbox(or PS2).
