while the crashes are way better in burnout 3 this is still a game begging to be played. The best thing is the crash mode, its insanley fun and at its cheap price its a good buy.

This game is awesome. I don't usually like racing games for a long time. But this is an acception. I think that this is a good game because you get to total cars, semis, and buses. You also get to race. This is a nice combination. You could do racing or you could do the destruction type mode. Basically you ram into traffic causing as much damage as possible! How cool is that!

A good game. You have a few missions to do and you can complete the crash mode. This is the best part of the game. You drive down a busy street and try to crash into the most cars as possible. The more damage the beter. Another great part of the game was the speed. It didn't make you crash like some other games. Also Turning is very easy. Over all I injoyed this game, but it was way to short. If you have a free weekend go rent it from blockbuster or family video, and play with a friend for even more fun in crash mode going head to head. This is a great game to rent for a week or so unless you really like to crash cars.

Burnout 2 is a fun game for sure.I never even played the race modes.The crash mode though is genius.Me and my buddies would take turns seeing who could cause the most damage and mayhem.A good party game

Burnout 2 is a great racing game!!Excellent load times! Simple, straightforward menus. Great replays and cutscenes. No complaints.The best crashes on planet earth. Smoke, fire, flying car parts...this is the sh*t. No aliasing, not shimmering, either (and running at 60 fps, too).Straight up rock that dynamically changes tempo with your speed. Nice. Effective car sounds add a thrill.This is it folks, burning hot racing action. This game re-creates an intense sense of speed. The extra modes -- Crash in particular -- are excellent.Some modes last longer than others. All in all, the two-player mode, Crash, Chase, and the Custom Chamionship mode ought to keep things humming for awhile.

Well if you played the original you will like this if you didnt play the original you will like this. Let me put it this way i hope u didnt play the original because it just blows. I really enjoyed the best crash thingy and the other stuff! I can only give this a 3.0 out of 5.0 though

Burnout 2 has made a lot of progress from the first one. For example, in the first one all that happened when you crashed wasflipping and shattering of glass, but the makers learned their lesson. That lesson is that the more detail you put into your crashes the less the player will mind about crashing. Not only are the crashes better, but the drivers ed 101 was, I thought, pretty funny. What could be more fun than to have someone tell you how to break the law on the road. The only problem I had with the game, was the difficulty of the game after you get the race car in the game.

I sat down to play burnout 2 expecting to find a game very similar to the first title, which wasn't bad, but it got old quick. After playing the game for a little while boy was I wrong. There's nothing like racing down the freeway in the wrong lane and colliding head on with oncoming traffic. The new crash mode will drive you to unlock all of the goodies that burnout 2 has to offer.
