the sims 1 is one of the best one of all the other versions. even though its the first one and the graphics are kind of bad.And it was kind of hard to understand at first.But to me its soo fun ,i love the game . ooh yeah in the game you basically do the same thing over and over. but its still fun !!!

This is the best of the Sims series on the PS2. It is very very addicting. But it can get boring after a while because you do the same things every day. But thats when you through a party ^_^. The graphics were great and the music was cool too. This is a great game

An all time classic one of my first ps2 games, and I like it up to here, it may be old, but it is a damn good fun game to play.

I am addicted to this game. It is so much fun. I 've had it for a year and I still can't get enough of it(Xbox version). I love building houses and creating characters. I must admit, it is more fun when you cheat. Unlimited money and all items unlocked makes this possibly the most addictive game ever made. I'd love to see it online (with Xboxlive). Go get it now! For any console! GO! NOW!!

This game is boring... nothing ever happens and when something does... its dull. Think about it... how much fun is it to watch some guy/girl walk around the house, sleep & take a dump? Plus it takes up all of your time... the A.I. is too stupid to do anything on is own. If you dont have him/her walk to the bathroom they piss on the floor. Boring... and BAD!

The game is pretty cool ,The graphics could zoom in more .i gev that 4.5 the sound is good but there is some annoying moments i give a score of 4.5 Play control requires a little bit of a learning cuvre but once mastered it becomes ideal. I give a score of 4.5 So overall The Sims for me gets a 4.5

When a game is so addictive on a pc, it is only a matter of time before it starts to show up on a console. The Sims was one of those games. And so now PS2 fans with Sims envy can now play basically the same game with a few extra perks. At first glance it would seem that the main perk is the graphics. They have been reworked to be in 3d and character models have been improved. Although the character models look a bit wierd, the game looks noticibly prittier. But the real heart of this game is the Get a Life mode. Which brings in a more mission based gameplay as you raise a sim from scratch and play levels to complete objectives. Once all the objectives are completed, you move on to the next one. Although this would appear to take away the totally open gameplay (and it does take a sizable chunk out of your memory card's memory) the old free mode can still be played for some good old fashioned...er...living. Most would think that with the way the game worked on the pc, you know, that thing called the mouse, that it would just be plane awkward on a ps2 controller. Not to worry, the controll, dispite a few awkward moments, do a commendable job staying responsive and keeping the levels of hair pulling to a minimum. Althought the game has a more story based gameplay and some revamped graphics, anyone who has owned The Sims on the pc won't find much that they haven't seen before on this one, but those who have the aforementioned Sims envy might want to give it a spin. Just make shour to free up some memory card space, or else.

after a day or two, this game gets old and gets spider webs all over it. ugh. you dont want to know what else i have to say about this game
