This game was... well... a brand new and interesting RPG. The battle system is similar to Kingdom Hearts, but it wasn't as good or flexible. Even though the first volume of this game wasn't anything spectacular, you'll definently see me buying the next 3 volumes. Hopefully, the series will come together in the end. Whoo! Besides that, the whole Project Hack thing is interesting with [so far] 2 anime series, 1 manga series, and 1 four-volume RPG. Oh, and 1 doujinshi series ^___^

For a game that is not real bad, but is like a bad apple, it is not that bad. i mean, it takes real computer experience and puts into a ps2,is that not a good combination! the character designs are good. the weapons just want to make me drool all over my ps2 controller... (drooll). where was i! oh... well it is still pretty good! i give it a 5.0! :)

the game itself is fun the camera movement is a little annoying but you get use to it. dot hack is a inntresting title but a little short on the stories. the fields are kinda small and the back ground is kinda blurry put you should expect that you are far away from the buildings. you have tones of enviroments to go to hundreds of enemies. hundreds of fields and tons of treasure. this game is a must get if your into this kinda stuff. for a newbie to the game you can beat this one in a matter of 15 to 24 hours.
Come intoThe World, leave slightly disappointed...

The World, a slightly intriguing MMORPG (sorta) where you play as Kite, a newbie to the game who realizes there is something sinister behind the game. At first you meat Orca, you know him from the real- world and he has just turned you on to the game when he gets attacked by some being and is put into a coma. Now Kite must find out what's goin on in this four part series. Sounds like a cool plot, doesn't it? I'm afraid to say that it isn't as interesting when you start to get into it, but it is still very addictive. I stayed over at my friends house for a while and played it, and I just couldn't put it down. I eventually noticed that the three characters I had been playing with were on level twenty- something already. Of course, that "already" was three hours worth of playing this addicting game. Unfortunately, the graphics and control don't really shine in this game. My biggest problem with the graphics was how fuzzy everything seemed to be. Buildings, things in the distance, etc. etc. The controls for the camera were pretty horrible, too. Sure, you can rotate them yourself, but why couldn't the game have a set camera itself? Sure, it may have been slightly annoying to get stuck behind a monster with now way out, but the huge fighting arenas stopped that problem from happening pretty quick. All in all, I would say that this game could be a great series, but I'll just way to see what's next before I make my final prediction.
