I liked but it seemed to have not much of a story line and its kind of hard and the controls are weird but it's still great

The only two gripes I have with this game are the controls and the character design. But these short-comings are not even enough of a nusance for me to deter you from giving this game a shot. Morrowind is so massive, and has so much for you to interact with, I just have to recommend that you move this to the top of your 'must-have' list if you consider yourself an RPG fan at all. I can't even tell you how many hours I put into this game. If you typically play a thief, this game is especially satisfying. The action/consequence relationship is highly sophisticated, and the objects to steal are seemingly endless. Exciting maps, fun characters, numerous objects, tons of quests, and atmosphere-inducing weather/time changes are just a few of the things that make this game so freaking cool. If you liked Fable but wanted more from it, get this game; it will satiate your craving.

Well morrowind has been there fore a long time now and it is still fun to play. Though the graphics are not the best. Exploring the whole island is big challenge and find the stuff you always wanted and else. Its a great game and its still worth playing.

Greatest game of all time, no question! This game has the greatest role play of every game ever made. I suggest this game to anyone looking for action and adventure. The world of Morrowind is huge. I love this game!

Bad Controls, No Real Idea Where You Are, Just Get Oblivion Instead

I thought this game would be the best thing since KOTOR and Deus Ex: Invisible War, but I found out that this game was highly frustrating for me coming from these two RPGs.
First of all, the combat controls were very unresponsive and slow....I would be killed by an enemy before making more than a couple of hits. After I would die or when I started a game, the load times would be unbearably slow; it actually made me want to play another game than to suffer through the load screen.
I would have also liked to have some form of a transparent map during game play so I could see where I was going instead of having to mindlessly transverse the entire map.
In the end, you should get Oblivion for either the 360 or the PS3.

Morrowind is a huge, free-roaming RPG. With total freedom to go wherever you want (quite literally) it is okay when it comes to that. I give the folks at Bethesda Softworks that. But the game is just too damn boring! With a dull storyline, that is a mystery until you pretty much beat it (which takes 1,000 years!) and a dull fighting system (just jabbing swords at monsters) this game turned out to be a true stinker. Addicting at first, but after a week of gameplay I didn't give a rip about it anymore. I am looking forward to the new Morrowind:Oblivion. I have an instinct that Bethesda will not let us down again.
Without a doubt THE best role-playing game ever!

A new traveller to Vvanderfall, you arrive in a small village, without hardly a name and a document to see some crazy old man addicted to smoking skooma! Thus begins your journey into Morrowind! With over 2 and a half square miles of map, this is one game that will take you a while to complete. The scenery is absolutely lush, all the various colors to admire at day, and at night, watching the different moons illuminate the landscape. The music is great to listen to and never seems to get repetitive or dull. The game's strong feature is it's non-linear gameplay. Unlike games such as Final Fantasy 7, this one allows you to do what you went at any point in the game. FF7 had about 6 or 7 sub-quests one could do if they ever got bored of following the storyline. Morrowind offers well over 200 (yes i counted them, i wanted to see how many there were)! This is a must-have for all RPG fans. The game will however seem extremely daunting at first, with indefinite options before you, but once you get going into the game, after an hour or so, morrowind will become a new world ready for you to explore. This is a game that will eat up a lot of time and a lot of harddrive, so if you have a busy schedule or loads of games saved to your console, you may want to rent it out before committing to it. Either way, this game will blow your minds with every aspect of it!
