GRAPHICS! SOUND! FUN!

I recently got UT 2003 and Unreal II. I like both games. I love UT 2003 because of amazing graphics. The new addition of premade characters and of new remade levels is great. They added a new mode of DOMINATION, in which you have to hold 3 command points for 10 seconds. A lot more challenging. The other new addition is Bombing Run. This is A football type game wiht no downs or penalties! It is fun , so just enjoy the game. MY RATINGS(out of 10): FUN:10 Controls:8 SOUND:9 Graphics:10 Respectfully submitted, skillmonster!
BEST PC GAME EVER MADE PERIOD

General/Summary: A total fragfest, with a better, uglier, older sibling. Gameplay: When I first played this game, I thought I was playing Quake III. When I started playing I felt as If the game was superboosted, everything went soo fast. The combat seems to be a little more of a close-quarters fight than a Royal Battle in an arena. The weapons are decent. Graphics: Wow, For the first time in a while I looked at a game and couldnt belive it was just another game. The atmosphere is beautifully renered and sways nicely. The characters are so smooth and block-less its amazing. Sound: The sound of an arena in action is breath-taking, the explosions, screams, and taunts, are amazing. The only odd thing is the announcer's way of counting down from ten: He sounds like a broken record. Especially when your team has a small lead in Double Domination, without your help you will be hearing "10,9,8,7- Blue team recover the base!" If you ever expecting something like UT, well, I cant really say I would recommend since I nevered played UT. Quake III players will love this game though.

I found this game alot of fun, and no I'm not new to FPS, I've played FPS's all the way back to DOOM the first. It is a fun game because it requires more thought than trigger finger blind action shoot-em up games *cough* Quake 3 *cough*, and its just a matter of personal preference some like the adrenaline and some are turned off by it. I like both to an extent, its more methodical and interesting to have to think rather than to just shoot anything that moves. There are ups and downs for UT2K3, I've heard people complain about no Assault Mode and it being replaced by Bombing Run, I hated the original UT and Quake 3, its just blind action, but it appeals to a certain person and they miss their assault mode damnit! I don't, and I don't care, this is a great game and deserves a little more attention and praise, it was made to be more appealing to a wider array of consumers and yet to keep its current fans loyal, it was a win-lose situation obviously, but it is still a Fantastic game. You aren't going to find a good review about it, they will give it a good rating, but gripe and gripe about this and that, or just tell you it sucks because its not a Remake of the original UT, its a great game, its fun, its addictive, it lacks in a few areas, as Every game does, don't trust the reviews by the pro's until you have played it yourself. The game is beautiful and has some of the downright neatest places to battle it out in, and when mastered, no bot, no multiplayer opponent, will ever gun you down. I recommend this game to computers that can handle it, and to people who want something new, get the demo, try it out, judge for yourself.
This game ROCKS!

Unreal Tournament is the best! Its huge array of weapons adds to its exciting gameplay. If you want intense action and gore, this is for you.

Well FPS fans, UT2K3 is here and it was well worth the wait. The first thing you will notice while playing this game is the graphics. Every area comes packed with eye-pleasing visuals such as shiny metal services, reflective water and shimmering monitors. The game play equally matches. Just like classic style UT, you can play CTF and deathmatch. No Assualt though, which is a bummer. But there is a new mode called bombing run, which crosses football with deathmatch. It's great fun, though. The only draw back you will probably find with UT2K3 is that there are no new weapons since the first UT. It's just the basic guns but enchanced and they look different. Although they did add a new gun with is a machine-gun/grenade launcher.Overall, UT2K3 will please a majority of the FPS shooter fans out there including UT veterans.
HALF BETTER THAN UNREAL TOURMENT

THE GAMEPLAY IS THE SAME THING AS THE FIRST UNREAL TOURMENT AND THE GETS BORING BY THE MATCHS.THE ONLY THING I LIKE ABOUT IT WAS THE GRAPHICS.I MAY HAVE SAID IN MY QUAKE 3 REVIEW THAT QUAKE 3 WAS ALL ABOUT GRAPHICS WELL UNREAL TOURMENT 2003 IS ABOUT THE GRAPHICS TOO.THE GAME IS GOOD AND FUN TOO BUT THE GAMEPLAY JUST GET THE GAME A BAD SCORE. UNREAL 2003 IS NOT THE KING THIS YEAR IT IS GOING TO BE QUAKE 4 THAT IS GOING TO RULES ASS THE TIME !
To frag or not to frag, that is the question.

Finally, Unreal Tournament 2003 is upon us. After much anticipation over the years and especially this summer, it's finally here and sooner than expected. The demo was what everyone was after at first. It took so long to be released until they finally released it on 9-13- 02. That was one of the best Friday's I had ever had..The demo was perfect. Shift to a few weeks later, the release of the final game. As I install it and I'm ready to play. Damn, theres a LOT of characters and they're pretty much all cool. The maps and mutators as well. The big disappointment for me was technical problems. Thousands are having problems with UT2K3 unlike with the demo, and it's because it was rushed, IMO..The demo played much better..The most common is the Direct X 8.1 b problem..Which I'm still having. I really wanted to play Phobos 2, alas, I can't, and can't play other maps either, but only some. It's only a fair sized blow though..A lot of the other maps make up for it..I don't know if I have a favorite but the A.I. is awesome, I'm still playing on adept and the bots can kick some ass. Way better than in UT. Which brings to the game engine..It's a lot like Quake and more fast paced..UT was fast enough, but this is like Quake and UT mixed together on steroids..You'll see what I mean when I play. I hate the announcer, and they didn't do very much to the guns or matches, or even the maps for that matter..Still..It's a great buy that no PC FPS player should be without..
