This is a great game and the beginging of a great series. This game is so funny and a lot of fun to play. Insomniac makes great games and it started right here with R&C and has now went to Resistance: Fall of Man. This game is now a known game and a known franchise. It has great Pixar style graphics and the controls fit right under your hands. Great game.
This game is awsome.

Ratchet and Clank is the game that started off the legendary franchise. In this game, you play as Ratchet, a mechanic that lives on the planet, Veldin. You find Clank, a robot, has crashed on your planet. You set out on a glactic adverture trying to find Chairman Drekk, who is destrying planet to make a new one. Overall, really fun game, a must have if you own a ps2.

the game that started the ratchet and clank series is an original. it is probably best in the series not counting the unknown ratchet and clank: tools of destruction. with ratchet the muscle, clank the brains, and hundreds of weapons, this team is unstoppable.
The original isnt always THE best.

This is the original R&C. This game wasnt that great, but it was interesting when it came out. The different kinds of weapons and simple platforming action made easy to pick up and play. However, the game was too difficult at times because of the short health bar. The gameplay itself felt good but repetive at times. This is due partly to the fact that most of the weapons were only useful in certain situations. Also, all the focus was on running-n-gunning. The mini-games werent bad but not that good either. The control system worked well and the graphics and audio were good as well. The story was alright and the game did have an enjoyable sense of humor. If you havent played this game, I suggest you do. Its a very fun, simple game and with a $20 price tag it won't hurt your wallet too much.

One of the best platforming/action games of the PS2. It may start off slow, but you'll be blowing up enemies in no time. The dialogue is so hilarious, the weapons are freakin awesome, & the upgrades...........interstellar. The graphics are bright & beautiful & framework doesn't skip at all. I will love this game till I die!

This is a great game! It's as good as any Mario game. Well...except Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES, that MIGHT be better. But really, this is the first platformer of its type. The first 1 to have guns.
It's Quark-tastic!
