GRAPHICS- 2.5...The character models are plain and have no detail, the enviroments are bland and textureless, and to top all the crappy visual stuff off, the slow-mo effects look dull and scraping to the eye! SOUND- 3.0...With the amusingly pathetic voice-acting and totally of-a- bore sound effects such as the dumb weapon effects and weird audio configurations, Sound makes an unfavorable appearence!, except for the quite good music. CONTROL- 2.0...Slow-mo controls are nervewrecking and painful, making the camera glitchy and sadly, controlling Jack is overly annoying. Controls in this game aren't worth squat! FUN FACTOR- 2.0...Dead To Rights deserves to die to the rights because of it's many flaws including poor control systems, choppy visuals, and a unfortunate bad slow-mo appearence...followed by repetitive combat...your 50 bucks should go to something else besides this failure!

awesome. uh, rayado, i heard from like 8 places that this was started BEFORE max payne. max payne stole bullet time from this, not the other way around (or maybe GMTA?). anyway, this game is great. the human sheild idea (props for not using up ammo when you 'dispose' of it) is super, and i get to play with DOGGY!!!i had fun just throwing and shooting the fire extinguishers in the nightclub level! maybe not as buy, but defenitely a rental! this game is so fun when your shoting the crap outta everyone but the ther is the stupid stuff like gathering ciggarettes in jail which pretty much ruins it but if you can get [ast that then this game is amzeingly fun

This game is a mindless rambo shooting spree, but its fun. This is probably the perfect game for all your trigger happy people. You don't really have to aim, just hold down the target button to switch targets and blast away. This game also has lots of hand-to-hand combat which is also adds a nice touch to it. All in all I think this is a pretty good game

This game is a LOT of fun. It really mixes things up. There are little mini-games where you have to use your hand eye coordination to solve puzzles that go along with the story (lock picking, bomb de- fusing). But don't take my word for it. Rent this game. you won't regret it. I swear to god it's so much fun. (except for the prison missions... )

I was disappointed, I really was. Every time an xbox game comes out the gp editors always give it a crap rating bcuz of controls. Well this time they're actually right. The controls are HARD and the game itself is pretty difficult and the learning curve is pretty steep. Fighting hand to hand is fun, but you can be killed way to easily in a gun fight. The developers expect you to be stealthy instead of diving in and shoot like crazy (ala max payne) But even when you hide and wait for an opening, the AI already comes running and kills you quite easily. The human sheild idea was pretty good but in attempting to grab a human sheild, chances are your gonna be pretty hurt in trying to grab them. And in some cases you'll be dead, because you tried to grab them as a last resort since you're about to kick the bucket anyways. The game becomes a bit addictive once you master the controls a bit though. But you'll still be killed easily. A difficulty setting would have been nice. So 3.5 is my rating

I was weary at first to try this game but was plesantly surprised when I did.I thought this would be a Max Payne clone,dispite simularities;it is different enough to merit a `go'.The graphics are sharp,not as crisp as they could be.The sound is great,however;a total immersion into the game world.The voice acting isn't that bad either.the main thing that hurts the game is the hardcore`me too' factor.The designers liked the bullet time(like the Matrix)like in Max Payne,but they wanted to take it a step further and let you have hand to hand combat.And even let you control a dog and have mini games to play.I guess they wanted to make a FF7 action game.But instead they didn't follow through with their own idea.So it makes it look like the bullet time was thrown in as an after thought.For example:bullet time has been restricted to the dive and shoot (same as in Max Payne).If they wanted to go a step further ,why can't you slow time down while fighting?If you wanted to take us a step closer to the Matrix,why rehash with nothing new.That screams "Biter".Granted the game is fun,the ability to duck and fire fight with back against the wall is long overdue.The mini-games are a total waste of time,aren't mini games supposed to be fun.Not just mere annoyances to the rest of the game.The fighting system is a elemetry Tekken-wanna be fighting system,which feels like they just threw it in as an afterthought.If the fighting system was like Buffy the Vampire Slayer,they would have had a stellar game.The game has its moments,but it lacks the style and grace of the game it trys to immitate and surpass.Falling short with the inability to follow through with some great ideas and gameplay moments.Slow A.I brings down the fun factor to a solid rental at best.Save the dead presidents for Brute Force.

This game really rocks! the gameplay and graphics make this game hang with Halo.... but then yet Halo is 4 players and Dead to Rights is onyl one player...so thats one thing i dont like about it...everything else is awesome about this game:P

Ilove this game and i don't know why anyone would hate it it's the best game out and i think that it will be untill the release GTA VICE CITY.

This has got to be one of the best games that has came out for the XBOX. The only complaint I have against this game is how hard really hard some of the fire fights are, and the lame prison portion of the game. The games does get frustrating when you get your cap peeled back on the same level time after time. The Camera angles will at time frustrate you ( It's easy to get sucker punched or get shot at certain angles ), you think after a few games developers would correct this. Other that these few gripes the game does have a lot of good points to it. I love the Hong Kong style acrobatic game play, and that you can send your dog Shadow to take a bite out of some hapless fool. This is not a Max Payne rip off like a lot of people would like to say it is, it's sort of a homage. I recommend this game to hardcore gamers, just because its pretty freaking hard and the maturity level.
