This game was amazing. It had every element that i look for in a RPG. It might come off as a bit childish to some people but lately there have been a lot of childish games that surprise people such as Kingdom Hearts and Dragon Quest 8. It has a great weapon selection and you can customize these weapons in more ways imaginable. The story line draws you in and has you going out of the game sad that you finshed it. I personally got about a good 60 hours of gameplay out of it so the length was no problem. It was surprisingly fun so if u can find it you will love it. Sadly its discontinued so you would have to pry it out of someone elses hands. Still this game is worth it. Check it out.

For being an warly release on the ps2, it really showed what the ps2 could do. Now I do not mean that in a graphical sense, even though they were pretty... In this game, you take the role of Max a aspiring mechanic, with a will... to see flotsams circus, this leads you into an adventure where you will end up creating your own towns even! This is a serious dungeon crawler, where you will find yourself spending hours upon hours crawling dungeons. Overall this game is a great experience, for rpg gamers, and dungeon crawlers alike. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

They made their own theme song and everything. I like this game and all, but it's just way too difficult. The strategy guide is almost a prerequisite for this game, yet it only helps you to barely get on your feet. There are about a billion different characters and inventions, but how to obtain things becomes really obscure, really early in the game. Overall, somewhat discouraging. Too many monotonous things that have to be done before the action starts. Moreover, the Georamas are just short of massive architectural undertakings. I don't think a lot of kids are into that...

It's Ok but the game clud have been upgraded. The game remined me to much of the old one. But it's still pretty good rent before you buy.

This game seems to have a childish scene to it. Also i cant stand countless dunegons and laiers. Also why make an inventing system if you barely ever have to use it. The only good thing about this game is its graphics. Period.

Dark Cloud 2 has a plot backed up with an awesome building tool, a lot of action, and a boat load of floors. I think that this game is better than Dark Cloud One. I think that this game was a successful accomplishment that Level 5 achieved. The amount of things that the player can pull off is amazing. This type of cel-shading is more realistic than the Zelda cel- shading. Some of the monsters are from the first Dark Cloud. The main character can carry a gun, sword, and a big robot. The game also lets the player make inventions with pictures that the player has taken. Overall, the game is a pleasant surprise.

Dark Cloud 2 was a fantastic action/RPG that deserves a score of 5.0.It was better then KindomHearts or .hack or any other action/RPG games yetso far.

I fell in love with the first Dark Cloud. Its creativity, and uniqueness sucked me from the first 10 minutes I played it. Dark Cloud 2 is everything and so much more. The weapons system, although challanging later on, is great. The story, I cant say is as a Final Fantasy storyline, but is more than it would need to be to be this great game. So many side quests, and other things to then just rushing through the game to reach the finish. The music throughout the game is spectacular! The only thing that I could hold against this game, is that it lacks something that the first one had. The thing that makes a game a classic. This game deserves the 5.0 without a doubt, but if it had that special something the last one had, it could have very well been side by side with FF7. Buy the game.

I love this game Im only at balance valley and it is already way better than the first one.I hated the first one but this one and the new georama make it AWESOME!!!
