I would rent this game if I were you. If you don't play your tactics correctly, your cards will be goner than you can say "Gone". The cards are great in this game if you pick the correct cards. The game requires skill and time.

This game provided countless hours of...okay, only like twenty minutes of entertainment. It really was aweful. This is one of the games I was very excited to play, but boy was I dissapointed. Not being able to see the enimies and running out of cards were always an issue. I could go on forever about the awefulness of this game, but I have to go to work.
I hope she gets paper cut on one of her cards and dies

Arghhhhhh!!! I thought I was being totured. Its almost painful to play. She's too ditzy and whats up with the Quasimodo like mentor? Graphics-Awful for such a wonderful system Sound-I pressed mute hoping that I wouldn't be infected by the game Fun-Almost as fun as nailing your feet to the ground then eating rat poison Best Part-Shiny Fairies that follow you Worst Part-Running out of cards so quickly
What? Where's the party?

This game is a good alternative to the Final Fantasy series (well anything that Square makes). With the low character interaction it can get a little boring. But the whole battle system is very deep and worth the effort it takes to master it. The controls are very good and easy to learn. The graphics are also good but lack the Awwwwwwwwhhhhh factor of Final Fantasy (or anything that Square makes) but it's pretty cool. The music is great so don't plan on grinding your teeth at irrating music with this game. People who like the flash and glory of the FF series may want to skip this one. But I recommend not to. This is a good RPG and it's a shame that more people wont give this good game a chance.

Hm...beat it in a week, battle's are cut off at the edge, graphics really need a boostin, and levels could be more rpg like. But anyways, enough with the cons, all you people who have cards, battle me. Me have my God Of Destruction, me Blue Dragon, me White Tiger, me Golden Phoenix, and me Red Dragon.
Great concept

This is a solid RPG that has a very unique idea. In your battles you have a deck of card, you throw the card down to use them. Some card attack from where your standing and some walk around and fight independantly. The story line is a little cheap(not much depth) of my aproval but the graphics and gameplay make up for it. I recomend this game to anyone who loves RPG's and enjoys a touch of action in it too.
This game is ok, if you have a lot of cash.

If you are like me and only get 5 bucks a week then you might just want to rent this game cause its not worth waiting 10 weeks to buy. But if you are a hardcore RPG fan and you have beaten every RPG up till now then get this game.
