You know, I rented this game. I hated the show, but I was bored, and this looked violent. I was surprised to find it was actually good. For when this was made there were not a whole lot of good action games for the xbox. If you could get over the crappy license, game on.

GRAPHICS- 4.0...Buffy is very detailed and the many enemies and enviroments are done in good colors and textures. The graphical options kinda suck and the video stuff is sorta poor. SOUND- 3.5...the music is barely nice and sound effects are quite boring and stupid. The audio options aren't very good. The good thing is Buffy's Wondeful voice and all the rest of the voice-acting! CONTROL- 3.5...the controls are average to learn and the camera is just right. People might get mad with the control options and the loss of custom controller configuration. FUN FACTOR- 2.5...Buffy is a game of neat gameplay and nothing else, the many issues about the game make buffy a rental...or maybe it's just because I hate the show!

The only thing i didn't like about this game was that SMG didn't put her voice into it, even though everyone else did.

This game is great 4 all us Buffy fans and non-fans alike! This game features a good storyline, cool graphics, nice controls, and the voices sound like they just came out of the T. V. show. It's well worth the $$ on this one.

this is one of the funnest games I ever played, besides Halo and Splinter Cell, if you buy any game soon make it Buffy two thumbs up!

Its the most creative game Ive played for the X-box sience max payne.Any one who likes the show will love it. The only things I didnt like in the game was willows voice,(it doesnt sound real)and the controls are hard to figure out because the guide doesnt explain how to use them very well so you have to pay attention to the tutorial leven of the game. Its a very nice game indeed... So go and buy the game allready damnit !

Buffy the vampire slayer the videogame? Why not, it was a movie and T.V. series so it only makes sense that it would eventually become a game. With the moderately sucsessful movie, and the popular show on T.V. some fans might think they are taking a risk of hurting a good rep if the game dosen't hit big. Others like myself just think of this game as an excuse to stake some vamps. Of course you assume the role of the young slayer Buffy. While the storyline progresses another evil demon tries to open a gateway linking Sunnydale with a hellish monster realm. This game is suprisingly entertaining, although the game has some pretty obvious flaws. Such as the bad lighting in some levels that almost completly distorts your vision. Another problom is the slightly difficult controls, and the camera doesn't make it any easier. With plenty of platform jumping to do, these things will most likley frustrate you more than once. The sound is O.K. but the constant use of voice bits by actors will quickly annoy most gamers. All the main characters are played by the real T.V. stars, ironicly everyone except Buffy. Overall though the game isn't half bad. Most fans can hold their heads high, they should all be pleased that the game did not ruin the Buffy reputation.

This game i have to say is just ok.. like of of the people said before u do have to be a buffy fan to appreciate it more, but i am no buffy fan. This game is fun, not great nor bad, just ok. You punch,kick,throw, and other combos. The graphics for thsi game are good, but the not the best for xbox. So 3.5 for the graphics. The sound i have to say is good, but can get annoying with buffy saying the same thing over and over a lot. S0 3.0 for the sound. The controls for this game i found easy to learn and were responsive. The camera in this game got you swearing at times, well maybe not that bad. LOL. Anywayz.. 4.0 for the controls. So i say if you are no buffy fan, then rent this game first, now if you are a buffy fan, try to rent it first and see if you like it.
