NBA 2K2, for the XBox gaming console, is definitely a tune-up from the other games in the series presented by Sega Sports, with better graphics and more realistic gameplay (your players actually do miss shots and you can also block them ^_-). Each player seems to have their own personality, but the dunk cheers and cheerleaders themselves seem a little repetative. Overall, it is a really good try, and a successful one at that, with plenty to offer. Although 2K3 is now available, either one is a great value and should be picked up with your XBox purchase.

This is one of those games that are fun but doesnt seem to strive for excellence first off this is a prime example of underachievement. No xbox specific features found. Not all players look like their carbon counterpart. MOstly the graphices are good but arent that n=much better than the ps2 like it should be. In short the sound is repetitive, the announcers repeat themselves way too often. Also i found a number of glitches that freeze up that game. also sometimes what the announcer says doesnt even relate to whats goin on on the court! Sega can do better. One of the best things about 2k2 is that the controls were easy to use. but the blocking should have been reviewed ten more times cause gettin 2 blks would be a miracle! While some say the AI is amazing all it takes is time. after a few games youll get used to their strategy and u can unleash hell on them! YES EVEN IN ALLSTAR. 55-0 is the current record for me. for people who played 2k1 before and loved it check it out cause theres not much new. But for the inanitiated pick it up, while this isnt the perfect baskeball game. it is the best in the market.

an ok game, nothing great though. good controles, cool graphics nice sound. i dont know why i dont like this game, maybe i need to find some help.

Graphics-9.5/10 Very detailed, except a few players are off.(Chris Webber)Sound-7.5/10 I'm getting sick of him saying That he "still wants guys like this on his team" But the sound includes the coaches yelling, shoes squeaking, and so forth Gameplay:8/10 The shotblocking isn't easy at all, and goaltending happens all too often, even on freethrows. But it is easy to grasp overall,and a pass to the closest player is a nice feature.Replayability:11/10 Street mode is great, and franchise and tourney modes are also going to keep you coming back for more. I almost forgot practice mode.Being able to practice free throws and see how the plays work can really fine tune your game.overall:9.3

Its a pretty good game with good graphics

This game is possibly the best game of the year in basketball. Alot of fun and alot of options that keep you busy for hours. This is the first time I play a sega sports game and in my opinion its very good and I can't wait until next year.

if you played any other NBA2k titles then this is a must have for the xbox, the graphics are more improved than any other version. The buttons are about the same as the dreamcast version, and the game has more things you can do. NBA2k2 is a great game i love so should you.

IT way better then the ps2 version his better grapics the players looks better then any other consloe version could do a how buch of stuff like season draft players play for 10 season. It just the best basketball game on the xbox. it better then nba2k2.
