Super Mario World Rocks.

Super Mario World is so far the greatest Mario game ever, and now you can bring it on the road. Graphics: The graphics are perfect, and pretty much exactly the same as the SNES's, and look great on the game boy advance's screen. For what the graphics are trying to be, they are perfect. (5/5) Sound: The GBA handles the sound and music pretty good, and like the graphics, the memorable Mario bops and tunes are translated perfectly from the SNES. (5/5) Control: The controls are ultra-simple and ultra tight. You can pretty much pick up this game and do well. (5/5) Overall: Super Mario World is 2D gaming bliss, and to be able to play it anywhere is like a prayer answered.

Classic Mario goodness

Arguably one of the greatest games ever made comes from the SNES to your hands on the GBA,and the results are spectacular. The transition is flawless, same bright colors, same classic mario tunes, same tight,if at times frusterating controls, same mario. Its all a GBA owners could ask for.The game that set the standards for platform games about a decade ago still holds out strong today. So right now get up from your computer,go down to the store and buy this game,it will be some of the best $30 you will ever spend.

MARIO 2

MARIO 2 IS A GREAT GAME. ITS LONG, FULL OF COOL GRAPHICS, GREAT SOUND EFFECTS, AND THE ABILITY TO RIDE YOSHI AND SWITCH BETWEEN MARIO AND LUIGI. THERE ARE TONS OF SECRETE LEVELS TO EXPLORE. THERES EVEN TWO STAR WORLDS TO FIND AND CONQUER. THIS IS A MUST BUY GAME. You can't teach an old game new tricks

I remember back in the day when Super Mario World came out on the Super Nintendo. It was awsome and fun and it blew my mind. Keep in mind, I was 6 or 7 at the time (that was a long time ago). When the Super Mario Advance came out for GBA, I thought I should give it a try. It wasn't bad, but there was nothing new. It still was the same game I had played 10 years ago. It was fun for a while, but then it got old. REALLY OLD. If your going to buy a GBA game, save your money for Golden Sun, or Mario Kart, or Castlevania.

shame on the snes

the big sized cartrige from the snes has been beaten by the extremely small sized game by the pocket(now believe that size dont matter). I own both games super mario world and super mario world advance and it was very obvious that the revival was killing, the sound is great, almost the same gameplay but the extras made it sweeter and they give you another classic game. In one word the game is not a wasre of money

What's not to like about this game?

Super Mario World is defeinetly one of Mario's best adventures, and one of the best video games every created. And now, this 10+ year old adventure is resurected on the Game Boy Advance. And, only the extremely stupid will pass this one up. I loved SMW. I played it to death. Nintendo's definetly making plenty of jems for their little handheld that can. With Mario World, Golden Sun, and (soon) Metriod and Zelda: A Link to the Past, Nintendo's GBA may just be the victor of video game hardware. Better start calling this thing the " Super Saiyan Gohan Advance".
