After a while, i decided to rent this on the Xbox, after unable of beating it on the PS2. Funny, but this time i actually DID beat it on the Xbox for the 1st time. it was crazy seeing how much more i still had to go from the last spot of the Museum. Not only that, but being able to see Maria's side of the story too.

this is one of those games thats a a total classic for the xbox.....great story, scary and fun. So many years from now and when u start thinkin about xbox, u will all be like "oh yeah, thats the system that carried silent hill 2.....dam that was a great game" Just you wait, you'll all see :D

at first i wasnt interested in this game cause its a survival horror game i didnt like that type of game because ive played resident evil and dino crisis and there just not scray so the game isnt fun but i decided to take a chance and buy it and im glad i did because this game is so scary especially the hospital area and that jerk pyramid head who keeps on poping up throughout the game so if your sick of those other survival horror games like resident evil because there not scary then give silent hil 2 a chance you wont regret it

GRAPHICS- 5.0...Silent hill 2's graphics are way cool..the creatures are so well detailed..they scare me!, the atmosphire is the best part!..it's so...AHHHH!!..anyways..i would have to say the graphics are awesome!!! SOUND- 5.0...All of the excellent scary sound effects, errie music, and everything else can be summed up in 1 word: Horrific!!! CONTROL- 4.0...The contols are very easy to learn and are really customizable..the camera is great too..but in some parts it can go bonkers and mess up your game..some of the control mechanisms are messed up but it's not that bad!!! FUN FACTOR- 4.0...Most of the time your walking forever and solving some lame puzzles but aside from that..your having one hell of a fun time..The combat is way better than resident evil which is nice!..Silent Hill 2 has an awesome storyplot too!!..Go buy this Chilling-fun game!!!

I played the original Silent Hill on the PS1 and enjoyed it. After Resident Evil set the bar with Game Cube I really expected a lot from SH2 on the XBOX. Sadly it was not to be. This is just the same game with slight improvement in graphics. The graphics are bland except for the cut scenes which are well done. They made no effort in improving on the original. There's still too much walking around and back tracking. It's the same old town and the same old story with no new innovations. Skip this lame game and lets hope that SH3 is not the same old rehash.

This is my fav game!!(hence the name slnthll2fan) This game has a great plot and great depth! this is a sure buy dont give it up and now that its platinum you can have it in a cool case!!

I LOVE THIS GAME. I even work for a website that is totally dedicated to Silent Hill. Believe me, if you havent played this game yet, you dont know what the meaning of horror is. It will totally blow your mind. And if you arent careful, it will give you nightmares for a long time. Overall, the story and the music are great. The characters are well detailed. You must play this game now.

Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams is a very scary game. The style of the game is uniquely scary and just plain cool. The story line is also good, but at some points you dont know whats going on and have to think about it for a while, a great plot twist at the end. The grainy-ness is neat but also dosent look the best and the control can take some getting used to, but overall a great game.

first off i want to tell you about the the story. to put it simple: there is a guy whos wife dies of a deadly desease... when the man recieves a letter from his dead wife things get ugly. this one of the better games that show off the xbox's graphical power. in most games, fog is a bad thing. but silent hill with no fog is like nachos with no cheese! the controes could use a little work, but i found them very easy to pick up, id give 'em 4.0 out of 5. even though there isnt much sound to listen to (footsteps, wind, groans of monsters, etc.), the voice acting is superb. 4.5 out of 5 for the sound.

I can`t believe this game didn`t make me Jump or shock me one Damn Bit....I feel soo Un-done, I`m gonna get my money And claim this stupid Shyt is Broken...Wasted My God-Damned Gammer time
