this game sucks u get to part 2 and just run threw a bunch of hallways to nuthin and unless u have a guide ur shit out of luck finding ur way threw it

Max Payne was a massive hit on the PC! Now it's back on the Xbox to kick some ass. This version promises total hardcore action from the moment to start the game and it sersously delivers the goods. From the moment that I started to play on Max Payne I was stunned, It is defenately one of those games that you cannot leave for one second. The graphics were very smooth and very well detailed, in fact they were photorealistic! The only thing that I noticed that spoilt the look of the graphics was the slight 'daggered edge' arround some of the out lines. This should have been corrected in the game. The sound effects also made me very happy indeed. I like the SFX because they were realistic. I like the sound of the shotgun because it sounded soooo like the real thing! The sounds were very worthy of merit! Another aspect that I like about Max Payne while I was playing it was the nice background music, I felt that the music brought out the atomsphere and the tension of the game. At one point I really thought I was the actual character in the game because it was so good, but sadly I thought that the music was very limited in the game. The gameplay is quite a challenge because the emeny can atuomatically adjust itself to match your level of play. This is different and will make sure that you are on the gaming bliss. The graphic novel also adds to the gameplay because has you play through the game the plot starts to unfold. I thought the story was brillant and not short lived. Game interface in Max Payne works to perfection because you can play on the tutoral to get used to the basic controls of the game. I like how you can choose from three control sets and if none of those sets suits you can always adjust the controller setting yourself mannualy. Max Payne supports dual shock to deepen the gaming experience. I like how you can save your procress at any time because it is less hassle and better than trying to remember lots of codes!

this game rules with the slow motion shotting thing ,just sitting there pulling the martix and wasting guys ,u got to get this game

This game is awsome. With a coulple of ajustments and fixing some problems this game wouls be even better.

Max Payne is a very good game it's like Halo but in a differnt way. Plus it got some Dead To Rights in the game also. Max Payne is one of the best games ever for X-BOX or any system period.

i got the hidden bonus level three weeks ago. i just forgot to tell everybody. you have to beat fugitive, hard-boiled, and dead on arrival, plus new york minute. the you get the hidden bonus level where the whole thing is bullet time and all 16 guys have jackhasmmers. when you win you get to see the remedy photo room.

while this is a port of the PC game, MAX PAYNE STILL RETAINS THE FUN being ported from a superior PC doesnt hurt MP on xbox at all. little details are still found everywhere. Snow, Lighting, etc. All still there. And EVERYTHING CAN BE BROKEN! it was easy to tell that Rockster had an initiative in MP. and that was to make a game that is believeable can easily immerse u into it. and for that they were succesful while the script for max payne wgood it can get downright cheesy at time but the great voice acting pulled it off masterfully. the controls are on par if not even better than the PC versoin! aiming is alot easier. this is one of the few games that seem like it was made to be on a console! Thats how simple it was. Great grphic, sound and controls. That only means a great game. while some may say after they played through it thats theres nothing to achieve and has little replayability. they are dead wrong and there are secrets in the game. all it requires is patience. MUsthave if u dont own the PC version
