ssx tricky

If u love snowboarding or if your just looking to play a great game, this is it. SSX Tricky takes snowboarding throws it into a blender with fun game play and some very unqiue charater and features then add a bit of difficulty for flavor. This is a game that everyone can play. Very colorful enviorment and unquie charaters makes this a gamers must have. To hardcore snowboarders, this may be a stupid attempt to market off of the industry but even the most hardcore snowboarder will find some enjoyable moments in this game.

Awesome Sports Game

This game is great. I played this game for about half a year without the disc being taken out of my GameCube. The graphics are beautiful (for its generation at least) and it has awesome replay value. I recommend you buy this game with all the money you have left.

Always in motion, always a sense of urgency.

One little complaint: the framerates gets a little choppy when the screen fills up with opponents. Now that that's out of the way, I must say that SSX Tricky is a worthwhile addition to the GC game library, especially now that it's a $20 budget title. It's been compared to Tony Hawk, but I think that's inappropriate because while Tony Hawk is all about tricks, half of SSX is the race. You're flying down a hill at 75 mph. You can't go back and retry that last trick. And because the game is always in motion, always moving toward that finish line at the bottom of the mountain there is a sense of urgency in SSX that Tony Hawk doesn't push, so let's the stop the comparisons right there. SSX has a large number of characters, trick books, venues, and the presentation is quite stylish, if over-the-top. I love the music, the big air time, the variety in the different mountains along with the many shortcuts and alternate routes I can discover. SSX Tricky will remain in my collection until my house burns down.

SSX Tricky

The first time i played it i thought it was awesome. I beat it with one character and stereotyped it like all the other games, you beat it once, you don't want to beat it again. But i was wrong. One day, i got bored of my other games and just played it for a little fun. I was hooked on it for another month trying to beat it with just one character and then another. Believe me, this game seems to get old, but within time it will refresh itself and you will feel like you were playing it for the first time except that you already knew the controls.

One of the top 3 Best Snowboarding games to date.

I rented this first and within the first 5 mins I had to own it. For me this game never gets old even when the goals are completed and the tournamants have all been one. There is always someway to go beyond what you have already labled as insane. The graphics are again what we expect from Nintendo, smooth and colorfull. The array of different tracks with shortcuts and mulitpliers makes this very entertaining. The arsenal of tricks makes this one of the top 3 best snowboarding games and looks to be an instant classic. I really hope to see a 3rd title for this, and the GBA version looks like it might be a sweet portable addition to this already great game.

full of razzle dazzle and addictive gameplay

This is a good game with solid graphics, pretty good music(I love the randitions of Run DMC's "It's Tricky"). The controls are a little hard to get used to at first but they end up becoming easing to use. The over-the-top Uber tricks are crazy and cool looking. This game is a great snowboarding game, even though it's not like most snowboarders.
