Dave Mirra has the best biking courses in the history video games. The fact that you can ride around woodward camp is sweet. This was the first extreme sports game to have large and massive enviornments to ride in. Likewise the trick system is very creative and has tons of things to customize. The soundtrack is really awesome and has everything from Gang Starr to Rage Against the Machine.

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 is basically Tony Hawk on bikes. This game is a definite improvement over the original Mirra and offers large levels, fun and challenging level goals, cool music, and good graphics. This sounds like a nice combination because it is one. Dave Mirra 2 is #2 behind Tony Hawk 3 as far as extreme sports games go. There is even a nice variety of 2 player games, including my personal favorite best wreck, that will allow you to test your skills against a friend. The 2 player games are very enjoyable and will keep you occupied for a few hours.

On the downside, there are a few glitches that may frustrate you. The biggest is the difficulty in grinding from rail to rail when the two rails are not perfectly lined up in a straight line. This was a fairly easy thing to do in Tony Hawk but here it seems impossible, which will have you trying some of the grind related goals over and over. Also, sometimes you find yourself floating in midair or going halfway through a wall. However, its still a fun game that will give you something to play after you've mastered Tony Hawk.

Pretty good on my scale, the graphics make the riders look real. The tricks are real and there is more of them. The places are great, fun and better ENTERTAINING. The gameplay isnt really very realistic, but there are many diffrent settings in multiplayer such as tag, best crash and sooo on. Very fun but not very real.

I haven't played the sequel for a long time and it was cool not playing it. Dave Mirra is still the best character and Pro of the game. But sadly, it's not my taste. This game feels like version 2.3. The graphics are on the good side=4.0, The sound and music (including Godsmack's "Awake") is sweet and it's funny when he crashes=4.5, Control is similar to the Playstation & Dreamcast version of DMFBMX=3.5, Average it to get this as a fun factor= 4.0. I thought it was 2.5.

I played it on every system it's been developed for and it still hasnt brought me any delight at all. in uncivil lingo "it sucks like leeches" the visuals were great and the models all looked wonderful as they should but it still cant even compare to how much fun the original tony hawk's pro skater still is!! I like dave but he needs to be down with neversoft or he's sunk in the console biz.

when i heard about dave mirra for the gc i thought it would be another killer game for the gc so when i heard there's a demo at walmart i quickly tried it out and i was pretty much dissapointed controls seem a little bit plain and the visuals seem pale compare to the xbox's and ps2's versions but i ha dot play it for a while to get the fu n aprt to start flowing i think of buying this game but im not sure.Die hard fans should by this game but if you are not then rent this game first.
