I can use only one word to describe this game, HORRIBLE!!! It's just no good, I can't think of anything else to say, because I can't use swears or else I can't submit this review!

I dont know what i was thinking back in the day. I use to like a lot of bad games. THat was all before Half Life opened my eyes. Now i can see games for what they are worth. Gunvalkyrie is a sorry excuse for dual analog control. Its levels are bad, its characters are unmemorable, its graphics godawful, and its difficulty is too insane to even find enjoyment. Do yerself a favor and get a paintball gun and try re enacting this (this was written to replace the 2 year old review)

THERE IS NOT MUCH TOO SAY ABOUT THIS GAME. THERE ARE COOL WEAPONS AND YOU DO GET TO KILL HUGE SPIDERS, BUT THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT IT THAT JUST...SUCKS. MAYBE ITS THE FACT THAT ITS KINDA LAME. I MEAN COME ON GIANT SPIDERS THAT WONT STOP COMING. KINDA WEIRD THAT YOU CAN JUMP 50 FEET IN THE AIR TOO. BUT THE GAME ISN'T HORRIBLE

the game has good graphics good sound but godawfull controls ther horribbly bad sure it uses all the buttons but who cares worth only a rental

This game weas prettyy fun. The rgaphics for this game were ok. 3.5 for the graphics. The sound was also ok.. 3.5 for the sound. The controls i found very easy to learn. 4.0 for the controls. This game i do have to say looked bad at first the when you get into playing it , it can be really fun. So i say if you have not yet played this game then you better. Or maybe atleast rent it.

who in their right mind would give this game a 2.0?!!I'm so disgusted by the review GP gave it that I almost hurled all over my computer!this game gives you a good, challenging scenario and lots of enemies to face.i was so addicted that i couldn't concentrate on anything else for 3 days. Over my collective years of playing video games, I own an Odyssey2 to give you a clue; I have noticed a growing trend in recent years. That trend is that eye candy is substituted for substance. For example, Medal Gear Solid, both 1 and 2, plays like a choose-your-own-adventure book. It simply is not challenging or fun to play. I have never completed either of the games in that series, for I found them insulting to my gaming intelligence and skill. All is not lost though, for there are games that breathe life back into the dying soul of the gaming industry. These games bring back the joy, excitement, and creativity of video games. One such game is GUNVALKYRIE. Playing GUNVALKYRIE is like unwrapping a Christmas present for the first time. You admire the pretty package, but once opened you find it contains wonders beyond your imagination. Make no mistake though; GUNVALKYRIE is not a Christmas present for everyone. It is very hard for those who do not possess the reflexes, situational awareness, and ability to think ahead. Which seems to be the fate that has befallen the GamePro reviewer. For the rest of us though, we get a game that keeps us on our toes and brings a sweat to our brow. The only downside to GUNVALKYRIE is when it is over. As for the many complaints about the control scheme, there is a reason why we don't let children drive cars. I hope SEGA does not tamper with the next installment of GUNVALKYRIE and make it playable to those who lack the skill to master it. I personally thank SEGA for giving me the chance to play GUNVALKARYRIE. For the love of the game, keep up the good work SEGA.

To my surprise, I totally disagree with the review Gamepro gave this game. The graphics are nice and the sound is fine. This game is pretty fun, especially if you're into science fiction. The controls can be a little tricky and do take practice to master. Once you learn the controls, they are a breeze and will leave a cramp in your hand if you play this game to long. Over all, this is a pretty neat game. Rent it and give it a chance.

I can't see whats the problem with the controls of GV all it takes is time at the start of the game you've got time to workout what to do with the buttons. I just have to disagree with you with the control as your putting the game on a "don't go there list" This game has got to be the best looking and playing in a long time, can you tell me didn't you play Burning Rangers at all?
