Best RPG ever created

This game combines incredible realism along with lots of challenges. It is so open that you can walk into peoples houses take their stuff and leave. The water looks as if it is real and the landscapes are excellent. The days in the game work really well, it takes a couple of days to get from city to city. This game is extremely challenging and lots of fun to play. I suggest getting it.

Not as good as i expected.

I played morrowind for about 5 days before i returned it. I thought this game was going to be fun an exciting but i was very dissappointed. I love the graphics (I have a GeForce 3 ti 200) but the gameplay is just too boring. The story was great but the fighting system sucks and the leveling up takes far too long and venturing out into the wilderness usuall ends up getting your killed. Ive explored every nook of every city and they are exotic but boring and repetitive. The only thing i enjoyed was robbing houses with locked doors. So much gold. But overall the game sucked... except for the graphics. Its not worth the money, id rather watch 3d mark 2k1 for 5 hours than play this game. In my opinion get warcraft III or a fast paced 1st person shooter(except Counter-Strike it is just kind of pointless now.)

err ok

This game is a good game overall, but most people wont stick around to find out. It is WAAAAY to in depth for the casual gamer. I recommend this game to people who have no life and have nothing better to do than sit on their ass all day and ply computer games

What to do What to do?

Thats what you will be asking yourself. This game has tons of things to do. You could play for hours upon hours on end and never even touch the main quest. Graphics are good not great, the control fits, and the sound is great for about the first 5 hours then it starts to wear, people tend to sound the same. Be warn though this game has some serious bugs, even if you go patch it at the website. But if you got time pick this bad boy up.

A game sent from God!

This is the greatest game I has ever played! Buy this game. I have played this game for over 55 hours and still haven't went on the main quest. You can do anything in this game from killing outlaws to pic pocketing old ladies. When you buy this game be sure you have a lot of free time, trust me you will get hooked in the first 5 minutes and it is hard to tear way. I have lost my job because I was late to many times, and the respect of my friends.

A masterpiece...

I thought I had played a great rpg before..seems I was wrong..this is truly one of the greatest. The only thing bad about it is that it sucks up so much of your time and the battle system is not too good, but I've seen and played much worse. It gives you a lot of freedom, something most rpgs dont do nowdays. Its a breath of fresh air for rpgs actually.Hopefully more follow in it's footsteps..

not so great

bassically this game plays alot like the online roleplaying game Everquest(which i think is still better) after about 2 days of playing you will be asking yourself why and what am i doing? First off the Journal where you keep you quests in order just straight up Stinks.. the combat is equally lame as you must Move side to side up and down just to do special attacks(which will cause you to miss from time to time) since you are playing against the computer only, it starts to get boring and there is no competiton to do anything or get anything done. so you end up walking around killing and getting killed by Half decent looking monsters that you begin to wonder why your system is stumbling along at. this is all if your system doenst Crash cause of the hundreds of bugs that Plague the Engine. if your looking for a decent looking game with Virtually no point then pick this game up it provides hours of Hack and slash action with the ability to go/do whatever you want to.. if your like me and like Conversating with Real people that actually bring life to the game go buy Everquest and pass on this overpriced system crasher..

The most in depth RPG I have ever played

I agree completely with Sar. However I do find that crack at us "pre- pubesent" teenagers a little offenses. But aside from that, Morrowind is definetly not for those who like to be dragged around by their noses and enjoy uncomprehendable storylines (hint-hint, Final Fantasy). In other words The Elder Scrolls III is hands down my favorite game for the PC. It allows its users to approach the game visually as well as through the gameplay. The graphics are amazing,(which can lead to a problem if you don't have a high grade video card) everything inside the game is extremely realistic. The monitor might as well be a window to my back yard, everything is almost touchable. The gameplay is also highly ranked, with customized characters and the ablility to do...well whatever the hell you please. And the controls are another add on to the excellence of Morrowind...all I would recomend is a joystick with about eight buttons, I prefer it over the keyboard and mouse, and it makes moving about in the realm easier. Overall Morrowind leaves a major dent in the world of RPGing making many of the already stocked games seem very limited and giving game creators something to think about if they ever want to succeed in creating a decent RPG.
