One of my all time favorite arcade games. Best snowboarding game ever made! This game is so much fun! I owned it on both the GameCube and Playstation 2. Although SSX tricky is old, it is still the reigning champ among snowboarding games. The games core is its insane ability to let the snowboarder pull of sick tricks and tricky moves. There are many characters in the game and each one has there own special outfits, boards and most importantly, trick moves. The controls for the game are simple. While in the air, the shoulder buttons are used to pull of sick grabs which can be tweaked. If you pull off enough insane tricks, your tricky meter gets filled and you can pull off one of 5 tricky moves such as the worm on top of your board, a move where you wrap the board around your body, a move where you lay down on top of your board and many more. There are two modes to the game, race and freestyle. In race mode, you race against other players through an assortment of courses and in freestyle, the point is to bust as many tricks as you can. The graphics are pretty good. Its cartoony, vibrant, very colorful. The environments (tracks) look very good. The characters look good, each one has their own personality. Each character says many different things during races when they get hit by others, when their in the air and when you choose them in the menu. They have pretty funny lines. Overall: Although there are new SSX games out since tricky, SSX Tricky is still the best. You cant beat its wide array of characters, courses and tricks. Once you start, youll never be able to tear yourself away from this game.

I would like to start off by saying that I don't snowboard, nor do I usually plug in snowoboarding game's. Actually the last snowboarding game I played before this was either Coolboarder's 3 (PS), or 1080 snowobarding (N64). But I have got to say that this game is a lot of fun. The grafix in this game are very nice, trail's being left behind in the snow as you rip threw the trail's. Character's are also nicely detailed. Nothing that will blow you away, but definatly up there when you are talking about detail. The audio has a Soundtrack to it, and the techno beat fit's the game style perfectly. The control's are where this game really shine's. The control's are easy to learn, but take a while to master. But then again anyone can pick this game up and have fun because of the ease of the controll's and pull off some simplistic move's. While pulling off more difficult trick's will take some practice and getting used to. The game has a number of unlockable's, be it board's, outfit's, character's this game is loaded with replay value. It's also fun to go head to head with your friend's. Or hit the half pipe and just go for point's. Overall this is an extreamly solid tittle, and I would suggest it to anyone who is just looking for a fun game. You will probably enjoy this game even more if you are a snowboarder. A very good game.

Why? Because I said so! Any one remember Cool Boarders. That was my favorite snowboarding game before this came out. Then SSX 3 came out.

NOW WITH CRAZY STUNTS THEY SHOULD CALL IT SSX TWISTED BUT WITH CRAZY HAIRDOS THEY SHOULD CALL IT SSX HIRSTYLE THE GAME PLAY WAS FUN THE CHARACTER WERE FUNNY AND WONDERFULL EXCEPT PSYMON THE CIRCUS FREAK MY FAV TRACK IS UNTRACKED JUMP AND MY FAV CHRACTER IS EDDIE SO WHEN CHRISTMAS COMES AROUND PULLS THIS GAME OUT OF ITS COLLETORS BOX AND SLAP IT INTO YOUR PS2 FOR A WHOLE HOUR OF WACKY ACTION WITH THE SSX GANG I GIVE SSX TRICKY A WONDERFULL 5 OUT OF 5!

Not usually being a fan of extreme sports games, I really liked this one. The controls are flawless, the number of things to unlock is mindboggling, and the uber tricks can't be beaten. This is by far the best snowboarder at least until 1080 comes out.

SSX Tricky is the most wickest game of the sport seson. Intense game play and alot of air i will tell you that, if you could handle it. The graphic are nice the conrolling is easy. The charcters are wicked espically the dude with the afro and the girl they are the coolest and you can almost find this game in any video game store.

This game is a O.K game but it's that great as i thought it would be.When I first play this game it got boring to me so fast but then I tried some the uber tricks and that was the only high-point of the game.I would recommend that you rent this game and see if you like it or not.

If you have a lot of free time, then this is the game for you. The graphics, gameplay, sound, and everything else in this game is pretty good. I recommend this one.

SSX Tricky is one of those games that has a particular spark to it. It has the fantasies of jumping of huge kickers ad doing Misty 1080's while holding an experimental. The graphics are colorful, smooth, and fast. The sound is great as well. In the air you could be screaming "WOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOO", and when you land you could be dissing your fellow competitors. The controls are locked on as well. This game is what the first SSX should have been. Go otu and buy this if you haven't already. You'll love it!

I thought SSX Tricky was very cool, it's definately the best snowboarding game of the bunch that's out there now. Plus, I know a WHOLE BUNCH of short cuts, A BUNNNNCCCCHHHHH!!
