Better than that PS2 port of Madden by those lazy, second-rate programmers at EA Sports. Good graphics(need to be better), GREAT gameplay, control, etc etc etc The only things keeping this from a 5.0 is the create-a-team and the graphics. Get this game or wait for this year's version with on-line gameplay!!!

The only reason 3.5 is because. THese controls bug you amd so does the sound. It is a great game for xbox at least. If ya want fast paced gaming look no futher.

Out of the football games for Xbox right now this game has the best graphics for sure and the anouncers in this game will keep you interested. I found this game extremely fun to play with my friends and even alittle while at home but it's major flaw came in the franchise mode, to put it simply the franchise mode in this game is horrible. When making trades if a trade is rejected instead of being alowed to fine tune it you hav eto back several pages and propose a completely new trade. The other major flaw with this game is it's old statistics, this game came out a month after Madden and Fever yet Madden and Fever were both more updated, for example on 2k2 the bears are a bad team and the giants are a good team. Plus it didn't have the stars that arose in the last season which fever and madden did. I understand that Sega is fixing all these problems in the 2k3 version which should be the best football game to date but if you're in a desperate need for a football game my personal recomendation is NFL Fever 2002, it's an Xbox only game meaning it is made with the xbox's power and controling in mind plus it has good single player!

Sega sports did it again with another great addition to the 2k series. 2k2 offers great controls, graphics and gameplay. And for that punk-ass trick that gave it a 1.... how a bout you actually play the game in stead of talkin out your ass puta.

this game overall is pretty good. the graphics are ok. the sound is good, the controls are easy to learn, and it is just plain fun, though i do like nfl fever better.

i just bought this game yesterday and i must say that it takes time to get use to the controls and first i thought it was terrible but then with some time and practice i realized that it's a dope game but the running game is a little off. for die hard sega fans this game is a must buy, and if you already own madden it's a rental. and if you own fever than i feel sorry for you!

After playing bothe Madden 2002 and NFL 2K2, I like Madden 10 times better. Control in 2K2 is bad, and its easy for your ooponent to see your play when playing against a friend. Stick with Madden for fun, adn stick 2K2 up sega's nose.

This is the way football should be: Fun. Fun, Fun. Tight controls, great graphics & did I mention Fun. It plays like a dream. Sega Sports is back, "Let The Games Begin." Madden 2002 & NFL Fever 2002 are great games but one is better: NFL 2K2.

It sure isnt as good as Madden 2002 or if you have an xbox NFL Feaver 2002 but its still alright.It dosent have much features and the season is extremely boring.But if your really hardcore into thE NFL Sega series you should pick this game up.
