A noble concept...

If the screenshots appearing on the box mean anything, then this game was trying to appeal to the Jet Grind crowd. I wanted this game as soon as I saw it, but it turned out a little different from what I expected. There's a skateboard to attach to the controller, and the controller is held sideways, but this doesn't really improve upon the experience. Some jumps and ravines are impossible (for me) to overcome. You have to get used to the timing and play in the controls and movement, starting far enough away, and ollieing early enough. Ollieing involves pushing down on the analog stick, but sometimes the controller thinks you're trying to pop-shove-it.
Warning: Do not even touch this game!

UGH! This game is terrible. I hate it. Ok, i'll give it half a point because the graphics are unique, and they tried somethin new with fingerboard. But the fingerboard falls off easily for me. The sounds make me sick. And I hate the concept of those alien things. Please, i beg you... Don't even look at this game. You might just get sick thinking about it.

It's not the next Tony Hawk nor is it x games Skateboarding it's more of a cartoony cell shaded arcade type of game,no the graphics aren't the best but their ok. Sound is also ok but not satisfying enough compare to other extreme games. Word of advice don't use the skateboard controller your better off using the d- pad and o and x. I suggest for those who sound interested enough to play it, sould rent the game first it's a fun game that might not be appreciated by Tony Hawk fans.
This is NOT the next coming of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater in Cel shading!

I really do like this game. I like that it's really unique. It's a cool game. But damn! Who the hell would make up this kind of a name?! If you can excuse the horrid name, this is a nice game. Even though the story is about as good as Pee Wee's Big Adventure(i reviewed that too!) The graphics, cel shaded, are really nice. Cool characters look even cooler with cel. The sound is, err, unique. Some of the music is kinda annoying but it's not that bad. The voices are ok too. The controls are cool too. You use a fingerboard that attatches to the analog sticks. Cool. Overall, this is a cool game if you look past the lame name.
Good but the board didn't help

When I first saw this game I thought oh this could be cool. The fingerboard was a neat idea, unfortunatly I found it hard to keep it on for those tight turns I tried to do. The game was rather simple to control even without the board(I did better when I removed it.) The first thing about this game that came to mind was oh just a Jet Grind rip off. However it became slightly addictive after the first level went by, before I knew it I was beating the first boss while pulling off some neat looking tricks. I did find the game to be a little easy though. Overall I thought that it would make any quarky game lover happy, for the rest it would be a good rent.
