I'll add to this review later: I've had this game for months, and I still play it all the time. Solid investment, if you can find a copy (it probably goes for around 25 bucks now). And I'm still trying to beat that last damned song! Anyway, I'm planning on picking up the sequel (Amplitude) this weekend, and I'll add some to this review and one for that later.
Better than i thought

I bought this game expecting to return it within a week to be traded but now its hellz no!this game is a must have. For music fans at least i might not say so for otheres I'm the kind of person that listens to nothing but rock and also plays in my own band. And this game proved to be a my jamsessions every time my friends dont play with me. Its got wicked songs and a remix mode where you could construct yer own misc with somuch selections of instruments.Songs here have very addictive rhytim and all specially the scratches unbelievable. -.5 cuz there's only 20 songs but stilla must keep
Cool. Bum. Boom. Click. Boom.

Frequency is the best music game yet. It has everything that a music/gamer would want. Different songs and levels for you to play. You can create your own profile and mix and remix songs, or you can start your own song from scratch. It has a sequal coming up soon said to be called "Amplitude". Based on the same great qualities of Frequency. Just to say a bit about the game. Get ready for some long gameplay.

I just didn't get it. I'm really not into this kind of game but I thought I would give it a try. The music is pretty cool but everything else is just average. I didn't understand the game or controls. When I buy a game I don't want to have to study the instructions. Gameplay was just down right boring. People who are into music games will most likely enjoy it. If you stay away from this type of game like the plague then you don't want to catch this one.

This game might look extremely boring, but trust me, it's not. I even thought it was going to be at first, but after playing it for so many hours straight, it got addicting. The graphics aren't that good, but it doesn't really matter because you don't really have a chance to see them when you're playing. The songs are pretty good. I'll have to admit that I hate rap, but I didn't have a problem listening to it when I was playing. I'm glad that there was at least some rock songs in this game, because whenever there's a rhythm game, it's mostly just techno and rap. I think that this game was worth buying. It has to be one of the best rhythm games out there.
this game rocks

When I first played this game, I had a bit of trouble trying to get on the beat, but after playing for hours, I've became pretty good at it. I never thought that a rhythm game would be so addicting, but this game changed my view.
FreQuency - One AWESOME game

FreQuency is now one of my most favorite games. How? Well when I got this game and first tried it, I didn't understand it. Then on Saturday (02.09.02) I went through the tutorial and aced it. I finally figured out how to play! Then I made my FreQ and started playing. Then, I never stopped playing it. I'd attempt to quit for a minute... but had to cut the game back on and play some more. When I got to some of the harder songs and messed up, I got angry very easily. I kept telling my family members to shut up while I tried to complete a song. I kept yelling and stuff until I got the song I was working on complete. This is how addicted I was. Now I can't even shut my eyes without thinking of FreQuency. I shut my eyes and there it is. It won't go away... Now I'm on the third stage and I'm still working to get it finished. Well anyways, If you like electronica music(trance, drum 'n' bass, etc.), then this is a no brainer: GET YOUR HANDS ON A COPY OF THIS GAME! If you have not ever heard elecronica music before, then go rent this game and get sucked in to the Electronica world. Ok, theres my review. Now I got to go back to FreQuency...
Very Trippy Game.

This has to be one of the best music games ever and for shore the best on PS2. This game has the phatest beats you'll ever hear and you get to remix them to make them even better (or worse). You can even make your own music and the best part is anyone can do it with ease. Some times it is hard to see what you have to press next in the actual game.
