the same 2 or 3 people are posting 1.0 reviews in here and slamming the gamecube. you can obviously tell that they are xbox or ps2 fanboys because the dont say anything about the game, but simply bash gamecube and praise xbox/ps2. My take on Luigis': Very nice game. displays the true power of the Gamecube. The only thing that prevented it was the length. Its too short. Why not make it Luigi's Skyscraper so you can have 100 floors to explore instead of 3? :)

Oh boy oh boy. How I love to hear the rabid fanboys of the X-Box talk about Halo and nothing else. Luigi's Mansion is a great start for the G.C., so is Rogue Squadron. It seems that as I've been looking through the reviews, some certain people give every G.C. game a 1.0 but every X box game a 5.0.. I wonder why that is.. hmm. Well, if I went to the X box forum (which I'm about to) you'd see that all of my reviews will be fair and nothing more. So to Luigi's Mansion, I give it an innovation score of 5.0. This is a new game genre and it's far from Mario. Graphics are 5.0.. sound is 5.0 .. control is 4.5.. and the fun factor is 4.5. KB Out -

I live in Texas, i have a dog and three cats. I ate breakfast this morining. I hate to eat my dog, but he makes me mad and takes a big poo right on the carpet, so I teach him a lesson and tell him i'll bite a chunk out of his rear if he does it again. Of course he does it again, so I fire up the bar-b-cue. Hello, goodbye. This game sucked.

Cutesy Ghostbusters With A Resident Evil Atmosphere?

Nintendo has managed it again, Luigi's Mansion is one of the biggest console release titles (if not THE biggest) in history. The game's atmosphere is as eerie and creepy as Resident Evil, however, your a lot less likely to jump out of your chair when one of the cute ghosts appear than you are when a flesh eating zombie who is wanting your brain for a midnight snack comes around the corner. And let's face it, when you sat down to play it, you instantly thought of Ghostbusters. But none of this ruins the gameplay, not in the slightest. In fact one of the amazing things of this game is the graphics which really add to the atmosphere. The details of the game from the carvings on the doors to Luigi's nose twitching as he creeps around, are some of the best I've ever seen. And the sounds is dead on, from the music to the sounds of the floor creaking below Luigi's feet. This is one of the most fun games I've ever played. Once you get around the tricky (but not impossible to learn) controls, the game is a blast... Now the question remains, is this a title worthy of buying the system for (it is an opening day title after all), in my opinion no, but if you like it go for it. Me, I'm gonna be waiting on Super Smash Bros. Melee... -Falcon Xavier II (FalconX2)
you play regular story mode, and thats it ....

This is a great game for Gamecube, the graphics shine, sound is cool especially with Luigi hummin along, control cant get too much simpler and Fun factor is great. Most puzzles are easy, but some are mind- wracking for beginners and veterans. Catchings ghosts is creative and fun. Overall an excellent game.

The gameplay is a high quality, but not up to a mario's level. rating 4.5 Control. It uses all the control, butit get to confusing to keep switching buttons around. Rating 4 Sound A beautilful and also creeping ground music, plus a good rythym music when facing ghosts. Rating 5 Overall A solid game with twists and turn to keep you in the game Rating 4.5
