the game have a new way, this is great thing, we get tired of the games that have the same way in playing but revolution in graphics only. Luigi's Mansion new way is really creative but it needs some of adding to have the game in its perfect way it should be. graph: 5 cont : 4.5 soud :4.5 f.f :4.5

Luigi has his own game??? I was very excited by just the thought of this game. I will reveal a deep secret about myself, I am a college student, andI still thought this game was fun, not buy fun, but rental fun. I bought it just becuase it was a game with Luigi starring, and it did provide me lots of fun. It is now my brothers however, becasue beating it once was enough. Catching ghosts is actually fun, and there are some parts where you have to think. It was challenging, and it looked great. Killer sound, but the same gameplay. The elements add a little, but not enough to make this a must have. Children under ten, I much recomnend this game, but if you are older, at least rent it.

the only reason it didnt get a 5.0 from me is because they could have made it a little longer the final boss is the most fun 5.0 grapichs 5.0 sound 5.0 controls 4.5 in fun factor because it could have been a little longer

The game is a pretty corny game. The graphics are very nice but when you have all this cheesy thing like the scientist and the corn rooms, it become more boring than fun to explore. when you find a ghost you almost always just go back and forth between to rooms before you find him. The game get rather boring after you catch about 30 or so ghosts. The controls are the greatest highlight of the game. It takes one minute to get used to the controls. The c-stick was genius for the game. The game can be fun but it's better for the younger ones. If your a older Luigi fan, then this game is for you. But for everyone elso, it's just another weekend rental.

Luigi is finally out of Marios shadow. As a matter of face after playing mario sunshine I think Mario might now be in Luigis shadow. This game was great. It is very addicting and I guarantee that you wont quit until you beat the game.

Luigi's Mansion is a good game but its just to short. They could have made the game less repetative and they could have made things longer. I had a hard time chooseing to give it a 3.5 or 4.0! The game has some very good graphics! You can make out Luigi's denim patterns, and rug patterns, door cracks etc. The ghost are a very nice transparency although I wish they didn't sound like rabid turkeys, and looks like gumdrops. The postrait ghosts are very well done. I'd rather have mini ghost that are like them attack me instead of the multi- colored normal ghost. Control is great in this game. The L & R triggers are very senastive and well thats a good thing for sure. The camera is great, although it makes the game seem like a side scroller. To be honest Luigi's masion is half 2d and half 3d. Sound is ok in the game but Luigi's humming eventually drives you mad same with the ghost sounds. The boss music is ok but it really could have been better. The sound your vaccum makes as you suck up all kinds of stuff is good and the sounds of doors opening and jars and pots shaking is well done. Gameplay in this game is good and the game has some replay value but not that much. Its to short and evneutally gets repetative, you suck up every ghost in a room, get a key, and move on. Overall this game is fun and worth a rent or buy a preowned game. I liked the game so I'm keeping it but after you beat it fully you'll just kinda leave it alone for awhile. Still its a good game and you should play it.

This game looked extremly promising but I dont feel it delivered. I think Nintendo needed something fast to ship with the cube and this is what came out. Dont get me wrong the game has so much potential unfortunatly it was to short. The graphics on it are beautiful however, very well done, with obvious what little time they had. The game play is fun as well, its something a bit different from the norm which is real refreshing. You run around with your vaccum sucking up ghost of all sizes (can we say Ghostbusters) but its entertaining. I would love for Nintendo to expand on this, I think a Luigi title would be fantastic to add to the archive of Nintendo.

Well, Luigi's Mansion is not everyone had expected, but its still pretty good... The graphics are really good, but the gameplay and the lenght of the game arent so hot. So buy it if u dont have any games to buy...

Yes, that's how I view Luigi's Mansion. It's a puzzle adventure! And I liked it, even though it was kinda short. Nice idea what they did with the second house you can play through. It's easier to suck up ghosts but they disappear faster. This game has pretty good graphics, the sound effects are cool though some ghosts sound annoying, the music is top notch (even though it mostly consists of Luigi's whistling), and the controls are perfect. Oddly enough, the controls are also one of the biggest flaws of the game. Pretty much... in theory, the controls are perfect. The layout is just right. It's how the game uses these controls that I have a problem with. Sometimes I just use luck, and NOT skill, to beat certain areas and/or bosses. Best example would be Boolossus. He's the hardest boss in the game because I didn't have to build up skill to beat him, like I did for the final boss. I used luck. But this boss is really the worst case of bad controls. The rest is fun. And I gotta say that the ghosts that are found in this game are awesome. They cover all kinds. You got the fat lady ghost taking a shower, the ghost that eats a lot a la Slimer from Ghostbusters, and the piano-playing ghost. A solid title worth playing twice through.

one can play it for so long before feeling annoyed. But its fun. get used to sucking ghosts before you play the ones that count, trust me youll want too
