I didn't even think it was possible. Square, the best game company with Disney which used to be the best cartoon company (they're cartoons have lost quality). This game is so good. The only thing about it is that it makes you motion sick.

this game actually deseves an 11.0.it not only has amazing visual effects,a good story line (with plot turns and twists), but squaresoft has found a way to rekindle the love that most people have in disney. the disney villains are actually are menacing. oh and the secret scene from kingdom hearts 2 raises alot of interesting questions. was that person riku or sora? where was that mystery person?how did those heartless get that way?and where are donald and goofy?

I admit even I was skeptical about this game but in the end it turned out to be one of the best RPG's I've ever played. Funny thing is after playing through the game I must say the disney tie in is pretty good. Graphics: 5.0 Right now your probably thinking why 5.0? Well Kingdom Hearts' graphics seem to be cartoony realistic like...like every Disney Character and Final Fantasy character seem to look real yet also seem to be cartoon like. Not to mention the cut scenes have great animation and are quite fluid. Not many of the so called "PS2 Jaggies" were noticable in this game. Controls: 4.0 The controls are great, they are nice and responsive, but since most of your speacial attacks or abilities in Kingdom Hearts are asigned to the circle and square buttons things can get confusing and using the D-pad or right joystick to navigate the little action menu to use magic or use a item, also swimming and flying was alittle ackward. Sound: 4.5 The theme song for this game is STILL stuck in my head! I love the theme song! Anyways...the music for every disney area is great while the Gummi Ship music was to repetive and annoying, also hearing the same under the sea tune during "The Little Mermaid" world got annoying. Gameplay: 4.5 The gameplay is this game was awesome! Moving around, jumping, battling, all of it was quite fun. The interactive enviroments, the big boss battles, and cutscenes were all good. Sadly the gummi ship thing was quite stupid (my custom built gummi ship rules all), the game had to many jumping puzzles, and once you get to like lv 58 or 60 the game's battles turn into a contest of how fast you can press the X button. Overall: If your a RPG fanatic or love RPGs then Kingdom Hearts deserves a spot in your library. If you like RPGs still buy or rent Kingdom Hearts, the game has lasting power, some replay value, is Challenging, and the ending will leave you wanting more and satisfied.

This puts RPGs permanently back on the radar for the PS2. It has a great storyline, it controls well, the graphics are cool and the gameplay is over the top. Finally... Square made an RPG that wont take half your life (and is really boring)!

I must admit at first I thought the Disney, Square team-up would not work. Since I'm a die-hard Square fan, I thought I would give Kingdom Hearts a go. Man was it worth every penny, awsome graphics, even better gameplay, and the story had so many twists and turns I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Just the Square cameos brought a tear to my eye. Plus the wonderful sound-track keep up with the never ending fun. If you like Disney and hate Square try it. Even if you love Square and hate Disney try it. Even if you hate both but love RPG/Action games TRY IT. It's worth all the time you spend when you're hooked on it. You can sit down to play an hour and end up playing over 4 hours. To sum it up, I give it a Fun Factor of 5 because of it's awsome graphics, stunning gameplay, and great story. Just go rent it you'll never regret it.

being a hardcore ocarina of time fan and changing favorite games from zelda O.O.T. to kingdom hearts i would have to say kingdom hearts is the best game in the universe this game is so good its ungodly. i tell myself to stop playing it and i end up playing two more hours go pick it up steal it im port it whatever just get it

i bought this game because it is not a traditional rpg anyway the game rox the best game of the year by far even better than medal of honor frontline

Simply put. The BEST game of 2002. Great graphics, top-notch voice acting. a great combat engine, and most importantly of all Aeris. This game is a must for every human being.

Kingdom Hearts is one of the greatest video games for PS2 ever! If you like RPGs a lot, or even a little, you should definetely buy this game. The graphics are awesome, the gameplay is fun, and it takes at least 25 hours to beat the game, without finding all the secrets. Sometimes the camera gets in the way, but that is just one small problem. Some people complain about flying the Gummi ship, but it isn't that bad. Hey, if this game is so great, why are you even reading this? Go buy Kingdom Hearts right now!

If you dont think this game is great I think that you shouldnt be playing games. or at least not good ones. kingdom hearts is an astonding game that i sat and play for hours at a time. i couldn't keep my eyes off it. the game grafics never stoped to surprise me. and once you think you've mastered it it comes and proves you wrong with a hard boss or a oppsitcal you cant pass. for the fun factor i put 5. i would have put 6 but it wont let me. this game is amazing. right from destiny island i wondered how this was going to end. and i wasnt discouraged when i did. i though that is to good to be over but then that awesome last scene made it all worth it. personally i cant wait untill kh2 comes out but kingdom hearts is well worth my $50. and i would glady pay $100 for kh2. and when gamepro gets info on it i will hope that will be front page cause it deseres it.
